City of Aranea

(Ara-nia) In Imperveress's southwest, the barbarian city of Aranea. Brought to Ress by his mate, Arachnia, the followers of the spider goddess are skilled workers in many fields. unbeknown to Ress or anyone else untill the arrival of Arachnia's barbarians, the portion of Imperveress that would come to be known as Aranea had ancient mines of Iron gems, gold, silver and an almost dried out vein of orichalcum. The people of Aranea look mostly like pale skinned northerners, with hair colors from black, to purple, to blue with occasional whites. Integration with southerners has produced residents of Aranea with darker skin, thicker hair and more muscular frames. Major exports are unworked iron, steel, jewlry, clothing, skilled workers and corn. Most desired imports are silk, cotton,weapons and tools, lumber, fish and
prayer strips.
