*It was growing late in the day as Arachnia made her way to the domain of her cult, named Aranea for her by her beloved Mate. Soaring over the borders of her city, the owl banked and spiraled slowly into a landing, Moonsilver tattoos lit all along her body. A few seconds later she was wearing the shape of her namesake: the Black Widow spider and was slipping through a crack and into the home of one of the common worshippers. Seeing that he was hard at work on a personal project, Arachnia smiled as her shape changed once again. Now, standing behind him in her woman's shape, Arachnia leaned forward to whisper in his ear* Dewed Silk.. *the man looked up, startled, and as soon as he saw who stood behind him, he smiled sweetly and stood from his place at the new table he had gotten* Mistress! What a pleasure to see you. What brings my Goddess to my home this night? *his cheeks were tinged pink.. Arachnia's silken voice always got to him. Brushing away a lock of midnight black hair, his brown eyes wandered along the length of his Goddess's form as he waited for her answer* *Silk's eyes wandered her every time, though Arachnia never minded, she enjoyed being admired and most of her following knew it. It was so often done the custom was almost a taboo. Looking into his eyes she answered him, smiling inwardly at the look of surprise that would surely hit his face at this* It is known to me, Dewed Silk, that you enjoy the prospect of trading with the other cities here in Imperveress, is that so? *Dewed Silk nodded, though he knew she was already aware of this and that the question was merely a formality. Trade had always been a minor thing for their system, but he liked it nonetheless. Smiling much like his name suggested he looked over his Goddess again to gauge her emotional level, but found it difficult since she stood in her usual, intoxicating stance of hip canted with her arms draped sensually across her waist. Silk couldn't help but be a tad wary of her at the moment.. he had heard what had happened to one of her chosen Priestesses, and he wasn't near that rank...* No need to be so tense, my dear Silk, I'm here with news for you. There will be a Web tomorrow, and that Web is for you. You are going to be in charge of trade between our city and the others. I know you are loyal and are well suited to this job, that is why I chose you. Eat well, for tomorrow night will be your Web... *with that Arachnia turned and disappeared almost instantly into the night* *Silk could hardly believe it, a Web for him? He felt light-headed and giddy with glee but pushed it down so that he could settle his stomach enough to eat tonight. With this calling, he could fulfill the destiny he had known was out there for him. Making his way to the place of storage for his food, Dewed Silk gathered the appropriate foods and began to feast*
