* Quar slowed himself as they came to the Plateau, Somehow grapes were growing upon the wall of this enormous structure. Quar knelt down and shook a little, rolling Lirimana harmlessly off his back and onto the soft grass.
" Wait here Lirimana, I will be right back!"
* Quar ran to the wall, pressed his front four claws to the wall of the structure, and began digging through the ancient masonry like it were clay. In only a few minutes, Quar had burrowed through the wall and into the dark depths of the Plateau*

*She giggled a little and wiggled on the grass where she now lay, realizing that she had whiled away the last trip imagining some of the more attractive residents she had met so far. She had almost dared imagine Arachnia, but the irritation she felt for her right now blocked it out. Oh well, maybe later... It was going to be fun to fly.. She sat up and looked at the plateau as Quar disappeared inside, wondering for a moment what he was digging for. Lirimana stood up and walked towards the entrance, resisting the urge to go inside and follow him. Her eyes sparkled at the prospect of adventuring in the tunnel, but she remembered the Elemental Dragon telling her to stay put while she was off in her own world. A frown ran along her features but she stayed there. There would be time for adventuring later, but to pass the time she hummed to herself a tune she had heard in Great Forks awhile back*

* After about fifteen minutes of waiting, Lirimana would see Quar's tail crashing through part of the wall, making the initial hole larger. Slowly, the Dragon backed out of the now larger entrance to the inky black depths of this plateau, until it was aparent that he was carrying what looked to be a large metal bird. He turned around and placed the bird before Lirimana, then scurried around begind her*
" Here it is! I saw some of the aerial guard flying in these over a thousand years ago. Its called a Warbird. We can fly up to the manse in no time with this!"
* He leapt once more, proud of himself that he had retrieved this ancient artifact*
" Get in! The controls are easy from what I remember"
(Lore:1, Sail:2 to pilot the Warbird)

*Lirimana's eyes flashed happily as he brought out a flying machine quite similar to what she had just been theorizing about. Surely ir was Fate or Destiny or some such thing helping her along the way. As soon as he told her to get in, the Twilight's face fell and she looked puzzled. She looked at the controls and shook her head*
Sorry, Quar, but I have no idea how to fly something like this. Could Zeriku or Sentinel help us with it? It would probably have to be Zeriku since Sentinel is.. offline, so to speak.

* The form of the dragon became more hard and ridged as his eyes dulled and his head lowered.. looking as if he were dying. for a moment or two, the dragon stood perfectly still.. when suddenly a crack formed upon his draconic forehead and began to spread. The crack became larger until the dragon's stoney body broke apart, revealing the alternate humanoid form of Quar-Zagot. he shook his head, sending bits of dust and sand in all directions. He looked disappointed as he watched the warbird for a moment, then turned to Lirimana*
" I suppose we could call upon Zeriku... She could fly one of these. Much like Sentinel, Zeriku is always watching and listening".

Ok, then we'll have to call her..
*In truth, Lirimana felt bad for disappointing the dragon, she could see that he had expected her to know how.. It was kind of sad that she had finally found what she had been looking for, only to realize that she couldn't use it. Well, this would just be something she would have to work on for the future. Now, however, they needed Zeriku. It would take the others away from their business and she didn't want to do that. Looking around, Lirimana shrugged and called out to the more unknown Mansepersonality*
Zeriku? If you could come help me fly this Warbird, it would be appreciated. I promise I'll learn how later, but right now I need you to do it..

*a silvery image of a woman materialized in front of them and nodded once before phasing in with the Warbird. The device came to life and the hatch opened, revealing Zeriku in the pilot's seat. She turned her head towards them and nodded once more*
Get in, Solar, Dragon. There's room enough for the both of you

*the Twilight looked to Quar-Zagot and shrugged*
Shall we?
*Lirimana walked over and climbed into the bird, taking her seat and waiting for Quar to get in*

* Quar nodded, then stooped down, getting into the warbird and squeezing into the slightly cramp cargo hold with Lirimana.
"head in the direction of Bezair... its up there."

*the silvery woman nodded and closed the hatch, seemingly unbothered by anything around her. With no warning, Zeriku fiddled with the dials and brought the bird into flight, aiming for the destination she was given. First towards Bezair, then up they went, shooting through the sky much faster than Quar had been*

*Lirimana grimaced as they shot up, collecting herself from the sudden movement and looked out of the craft, a grand smile on her face while she enjoyed the view. There were times like these when she envied Arachnia for being able to fly, even if she had to become a bird to do so..*

* After an hour or two of travel and direction time, they soon came to what they had been looking for. An immense floating island with a fortress atop it. on the left side of the island was a first age spire with many ' caves' upon it, each one was an unmistakable port for an airship.*

*Tia-Ona-Zeriku steered the Warbird into the nearest appropriate port and docked there. She turned her head slightly to look at the two passengers*
We have arrived at the intended designation. You may now disembark onto the dock, it's safe. I will be withing earshot when you are ready to leave
*as soon as Zeriku was done speaking the hatch popped open and she straightened herself out, her gaze forward once again*

*Lirimana nodded and stretched a little in her seat before jumping out of the transport and looking around*
Thanks, Zeriku, I'll be sure to call when we're ready to head back down
*now looking at Quar, the Twilight grinned*
That was fun! What did you think, Quar?

* Quar stretched as he stepped out of the Warbird, grimacing a little, not bothering to hide his distaste for being in cramped conditions for any length of time... it reminded him of the Armory*
" I am afraid we do not share the same standards of fun, Lirimana."
* the floating island felt stable, as if it were connected to the earth of Creation. As they walked away from the warbird and to the spiral staircase, they would notice this place was unlike the rest of Imperveress... this was truly untouched since the first age, with not so much as a trace of ware to them.
Outside the spire, the rest of the island looked like a small, yet well laid out military base, complete with large first age bunk houses, an officer building ( the manse), and an oat field which could feed an entire army.*
