Hey, Quar, what do the other floating Manses look like? There has to be one for at least each Manse, geomantically speaking

* Quar shrugged, looking out over the barely moonlit floating island. It seemed as though memories were beginning to return to him*
" I am not sure... I remember that there are others.... I think there is a floating manse over each manse on the ground, but I am still a little hazy about the details.........?... Whats that?"
* he ran off into the darkness of the crescent moonlit night, the outline of a few rubble buildings could be seen... possible due to weapons malfunctions during the usurpation*

Hmm?...
*Lirimana had assumed as much, the geomancy of the area would have been completely off if there weren't others in the same pattern as this one. Something had caught Quar's attention and the speed at which he bounded towards it made Lirimana more curious than just knowing something was there. What could be in those ruins that could make the Dragon run off like he had? Not that ruins weren't awesome, because they most definitely were, but she had never known Quar to be especially interested in them... Of course, the Twilight ran off to follow him, intrigued by the possibilities*

* Quar continued to run, many yards away ad well out of the normal line of sight for such poor light.
When he stopped, he knelt down and picked up a fist full of papers and looked at them with a puzzled expression. He shrugged as he looked through them all, then held them out for Lirimana to look at.*
" Lirimana, look at these... what do you think they are?"
* Lirimana would know immediately what the paper on top was... it was her star chart*

*Lirimana followed Quar over and took the papers that he was shaking at her. Looking them over quickly, the Twilight frowned, questions lighting her face*
What?...This is my star chart....
*she riffled through the others and shook her head*
Everyone is here, myself, Ress, Arachnia, Towering Oak.. except Dal'Lumen. All of the Exalts in this place but one.. What sort of person could find our star charts without an extensive survey and information from the person themself?.... Whoever it was grabbed them not knowing that Dal'Lumen was here, or had it done before he even showed up....

" Whats the big deal? that's just a parlor trick, right?... and even if someone could read your future.. what good would it do?... I wouldn't worry about it, Lirimana... besides... you are an Exalt. Nothing can stop you... hey.. here's something!"
*Quar reached out into the darkness and pulled back a few cups, some of them with a little liquid still in them*

You might be surprised what this "parlor trick" can do to you, especially in the hands of the wrong people. Exalts can bother Exalts, and personally, I have no desire to be at the whim of any of them... except for maybe Ress.. Hmm?
*her curiosity was peaked, overflowing as ever, and she looked into the cup, using her hand to gently waft the smell of it towards her so as not to cause harm to the delicate sensory organs. Despite her caution, the Twilight wrinkled her nose at the power of the smell*
Hey, this is alcohol.. Strong stuff, too.. Quar, who do we know that drinks alcohol? I can only think of that "Boot" character, the one Arachnia took the map from

Anyway... if you want... tomorrow, we can go hunt down Boots. I doubt he would be that hard to hunt down. But if these star charts are that important or dangerous, we need to get to the bottom of this. "

*Liriman's brow furrowed and she ran her fingers through her dreadlocks as she thought about the things Boots had said and how Ress could be involved in this truth*
There are other ways to get up here, we did just fine once we had something that flew properly. You just weren't made for flying, that's all. I say those charts play a role in this somehow, even if it's not until later. Arachnia mentioned something about a type of Exalt other than the ones we know, do you think that it is possible for Boots to be it, or at least directly connected?
*for once she wanted Arachnia around, they might have different ideas on how to do things, but together they could have a thinking session. A brainstorm, if you will*

Maybe Boots is that unknown Exalt that Arachnia spoke of. We really don't know much about him, though he did claim to be of Dragon-Blooded descent. If he really were an unknown Exalt, though, who knows what abilities he has to his name. Arachnia should still have the map, so we can go ask her. Also, maybe we should look at all the other flying Manses, particularly the one above Kideshen. Boots said he would be there, after all.

*she waved and turned to the Manse, making her way at a brisk pace. The Twilight couldn't help but be disappointed, she never was able to find someone who liked to explore as much as she did. The loneliness of no one to journey with was another unfortunate side-effect of being a Solar. Only other Exalts could keep the pace, and she was slow by Exalt standards. Eyes forward, shesighed once more and continued toward the Manse*
