Dal looked at Lirimana with a blank smile for a moment, before he laughed as he spoke.
"Well, if thats true then I'm impressed, you are obviously well versed in historical events! If it is this Mad Prophetess, how might I confirm that, and more importantly, how would I put this Riddens mind at ease? Supposedly something triggered it, she saw something that set her off, there were no other witnesses known of... I feel that whatever it is that she saw is related to the events that revolve around Ress's case."
Dal was looking quite hopeful that Lirimana would be the one to answer this question and ultimately help Dal save Tari's mind.

*Lirimana thought on it for a little more before she focused her eyes on Dal'Lumen. She hadn't forgotten about her conversation with Sentinel, as much as he might like her to and Quar was being quiet as usual. The Twilight got the impression that he was afraid of all Solars, not just angry ones..*
Well, if the Ridden was the Mad Prophet, then they would not have been around to see what happened to Bagarash Kol's empire. Ultimately, it was destroyed, but if your Ridden knows then it could have been anyone involved in the crystallization of the place. I'm not sure who it was matters, but you never know, it could be useful to have a name. As for releasing this person from their torment, any powerful God should be able to ease her insanity. You're a priest of the Sun, right? I'd say he's powerful enough to do the job and then some, try asking him. Reliving past lives usually happens when something especially traumatic to a person's state of mind, if you know what happened to your Ridden in detail, up to and surrounding her trip to the past you can probably find what caused it. Was that helpful?
*Lirimana smiled at Dal'Lumen, he was adorable when he was anxious. It really was nice of him to care about a woman he didn't know, most would just avoid her. Of course, it was probably one of the reasons he was Exalted, or at least a deciding factor*

Dal'Lumen Beamed brightly at Lirimana as he put his hands together and gave a deep bow to show his appreciation.
"Yes it is very helpful, Thank you! I should be able to resolve this in no time! I hope..."
Turning a curious eye to Quar-Zagot wondering where the dragon was hiding within this form of a man, and where the wheat had ended up. Dal rose again to his full height and faced Quar-Zagot now with an exceedingly friendly smile, he looked uneasy... and to put someone at ease often makes them more likely to answer questions, even sensitive ones.
"Hello, friend!" he boomed in his lion-esque voice "I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you yet Quar-Zagot, Nor have I had the honor of meeting an elemental of your caliber! I trust your trip went well?"

* Quar jumped back at the booming sound of Dal's voice, recoiling in fear as if he expected to be hit. It really had been some time since he last saw Exalts. he calmed quickly and smiled, giving a nod to Dal*
" It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Lawgiver.
Trip? I don't understand what you mean, Pillar of the Sun. What trip are you talking about?
And there is nothing special about me, Sun-Prince. I am a simple Jokun.... Just like the others in the land"

Dal'lumens eyes glinted cheerfully as he grinned at Quar-Zagot. Glancing over to Sentinel quickly and then Lirimana, who received a slightly longer look, as if Dal were trying to say something.
" Jokun, Really? I have heard differently, thats odd... And the trip I speak of friend, is the one you were on when you raced through Beziar a few days ago, the 21st while the wood was Ascending of course, how was that trip!"
Ebbing closer and closer to the heart of the matter, Dal would wait for Quar to open up the tiniest crack in his defense, if he were in fact upholding any... but why would Quie-Ra make such a mistake, or lie, he seemed to be of the no nonsense sort.

* Quar's eyes widened as he realized what Dal was talking about, then smiled amusedly*
" Oh! That! Well, I wouldnt call that a trip.. it was more of a run.
Emperor Ress told me to run through each city and blow sand into the air... but yes, aside from a few oddities, it went alright."

*Lirimana couldn't help but smile and shake her head as Quar called himself a Jokun again. When Dal'Lumen looked at her, she shook her head again and shrugged, muttering her next few words*
Still thinks he's a Jokun...
*hmm, why sand, I wonder? Of course it was a specialty of the earth dragon, having been a Jokun and all..*
If you don't mind me interrupting, why did you wait a day before getting to the other cities? Kideshen wasn't hit until the 21st of Ascending Wood...

* He nodded, thinking a moment, then giving another chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck, a sheepish grin on his face*
" Oh yeah!.. I am a Dragon... sorry, I have not been one for very long..... the 21st? an attack? A the time, I knew nothing of any attack... I was hit by two arrows, like I said, but other than that, I have no idea... and yes, it was the 21st. I only did as Ress told me to"

"The Emperor Ress sent you on that errand did he, I wonder why he wanted you to blow sand in the air of each city how many cities are there?"
Dal stood in thought for a moment, his eyes gazing up to the sky before he pointed his finger up to it, and gave his hand a small side to side shake.
"Dust and sand... It fills the air, and is carried upon it, but unlike air... you can see it. It could potentially show currents of air... or things that like the air, are unseen... Bah, but at the same time it would obstruct an archers vision... very strange indeed!"
Dal Rubbed the still bruised side of his head subconsciously while he listened and watched through his little orb of light far far away from the two of them, now was the time to bring up the mysterious wheat within the scale.
"Did you run into some trouble while passing through a wheat field friend, I hear you had caught a deal of wheat under your scales by the time you had passed through Beziar! Ohh the things that end up following us, unbeknown to us, like a stone trapped within a shoe, or a seed carried by a bird that ended up miles from its origins."
*he laughed in a knowing sort of way, giving a matching facial expression of amusement.*
" How ever did you end up with so much wheat trapped under your scales Quar-Zagot, where dose wheat grow in this empire?"

" Wheat?... you mean the soft wheat that got caught on my back leg when I ran through Aranea?
How did you know about that? I barely remembered myself.
It was on me when I stopped back here at the Imperial Manse, but when I looked back to pull it off, it was gone. It was strange..."
* He nodded, rubbing the side of his right leg without thinking as he told the story*

Dal grinned at Quar gently, maintaining his air of calm and friendly, purely-conversational approach.
"Oh, a friend here in Beziar that I spoke to about the day of the attack happened to notice it and thought it strange. But a clump of soft wheat that mysteriously clings to your leg... and falls off, or disappears only after arriving at the Imperial Manse, strange that if it where that easy to lose you would think it would have come off while in travel... Haven't got any strange little wheat monsters running about the place have we?"
Dal chuckled, and pictured a lumpy little creature composed of wheat walking around, grabbing on to the legs of Giant Earth elemental dragons, it was quite an amusing idea.

*Lirimana thought for a moment and blinked*
Umm, if I might interject once more, Aranea's main export was corn.. it was Towering Oak's city of Ramoth that has the wheat in Imperveress... However, I don't believe that it was wheat, in fact, I know that it wasn't. Wheat isn't soft and doesn't flow, besides the fact that when it was noticed, it wasn't anywhere near the city of Ramoth. I do agree that the sand was meant to mark something, though to be honest, I don't know what it could be.
*the Twilight's expression grew a bit embarrassed and she shrugged*
Sorry to interrupt, I just felt the need to spit that out...

Dal'lumen chuckled at Lirimanas quick tip-toe interjection, his hand moving up to rub the back of his head, followed by a classic double handed shrug.
"No, it's alright, just being here I am interrupting your own agenda. You are quite correct however, I doubt that it was wheat at all... I apologize Quar, but you said you picked it up in Aranea, not Ramoth, you did pass through Ramoth did you not?"
Dal' gazed off into the distance, his eyes squinting in the early light of day.
"If at all possible Quar, it may be a good idea to show one of us where you picked it up, probably Lirimana, considering it would take a great deal less travel! I wonder if perhaps Oak already knows anything about his missing 'wheat'."
Dal, smiling at Lirimana innocently, gave another small shrug with his shoulders.
"When you have a moment perhaps?"

* Quar's smile widened larger and larger as Dal spoke, until he erupted into a laugh and gave a nod, bending in half and bracing his hands on his thighs. He looked back up to the two Exalts in time to see Sentinel disappear into nothing.*
"You want me to show you where I picked it up? Sure! I know the exact place! I can take you there right now if you like."
*Quar snapped back upright and began to laugh an amused and elated laugh. As he laughed, the grass swayed, untill the sand, dust, dirt and rocks picked up into a sandstorm.. moderate at first, then became violent in a matter of seconds.
When the dust had cleared, Quar-Zagot was no longer a humanoid being.
In his place, was the form of a twenty five foot long serpent made from quartz, accented with clinging chunks of sandstone at the joints and under scales. He had three sets of squat, muscular legs along his enormous body. His teeth were like rows of huge sandstone daggers. His eyes were like a muddy red-brown, like iron rich dirt.
Along Quar's spine were long stone horns, which seemed to have the ability to lay flat against his back if he so chose, with a frill of them on the back of his neck and another set on each of his 'elbows'.
At the end of his tail, was a barb like a scorpion's tail, curling up much like a scorpion as well.
at either side of Quar's snout were three whisker like quartz spurs.
Quar reared back onto his back four legs, the spikes laying flat against his back as he did. His tail laid on the ground, the barb cocked to the side in an threatening way*
" Climb onto my back, I can carry you two there if you like!"
* Quar did not act like he did before.. like a meek little Jokun.. he was now a large and confident Dragon with the power of heaven backing him*

*Lirimana smiled at both of them and her eyes lit up at Quar when he shifted to his dragon shape. He was absolutely adorable! She got the look like that of a young child with the sparkle of excitement in her eyes. It was all she could do not to jump on his back and pet him*
You're so cute!
*Lirimana climbed up onto Quar's back and situated herself so that she wouldn't fall off and looked at Dal'Lumen with a raised brow. She would bother Sentinel again later, but for now there were other things to attend to*
Why don't you come with us? Your hologram can appear wherever in the empire, right?
