Dal leaned over a bit, trying to get a better look at the images. Was that one with the cup in his hands Boots? He couldn't be sure, to the best of his attempts Dal couldn't remember what boots was wearing when last he saw him. The other man was a complete mystery. Dal' detached his stare from the depictions, and smiled at Lirimana gently. He would have to learn how she did that.
*Sighing internally that his suggestion to set a trap had been mostly overlooked, he readied himself for the next step.*
"I can't tell, sorry Lirimana! Neither of those people are the blond woman we are looking for, so I wonder what part they play in all this.
... But hey if this Black squid does become a problem how would you like to play it? I think Sentinel had an idea."
Obviously Dal was growing a bit anxious, he wasn't quite sure what else he could say. He would soon have to take all this information and plan his defense case, and that seemed like a daunting task indeed with so many bits of evidence. This new girl knew seemed to be on to something though, and he was going to be sure to need to talk to her more in the coming days ahead.

* Sentinel did not miss a beat. As soon as Dal finished speaking, Sentinel spoke up, letting everyone know exactly how serious the situation was and how clear the answer is through his tone alone.
He folded his arms across his chest and stared off to the north.*
" Out in this direction is the Armory... up until now, it has been unused.. but now I believe it is time to utilize this untapped resource.
To be more specific, I believe you need to use the Warstriders within the Armory... but of course, I can only open the Armory for you all if The Emperor or Empress agrees to have it opened.... is this alright Empress?"

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Arachnia looked at the two images in front of them all, pondering on the color of Boots's robes. The other man she knew not at all, and she looked up to Sentinel as he spoke to her, nodding once*
You have my permission, Sentinel. I believe that there is one reserved for myself and for Ress, the ones that you and Zeriku used to use. Unless Ress says otherwise once he is released, you are welcome to choose from the others and claim them as your own for the time being
*turning her head slightly to the left, Arachnia looked at Wise River*
If you are truly interested in using a Warstrider, there are other Moonsilver Warstriders I will allow you to borrow. If that doesn't appeal to you there are a few different types of battle armor you can borrow
*Maybe once this one was tattooed and fully loyal, something that she can get Ress's assistance on, Arachnia might trust her a bit more. Especially when she accepts the oath. That is a death sentence to go against, and the thought calmed the Empress. Still thinking on Dal's earlier suggestion, she turned to him now*
What sort of a "bait and switch"? If we give them a dance in Bezair, how do you suggest turning it around?

* Wise River sat, half listening to the talk of boots. Why are they so concerned about someone's boots? Of course there was more to the story but the excitement of speaking up still had her chest thumping.*
May I see the image Empress? Perhaps I can help more. Also I want to be or ...um become ...lunarized? Damn...thats the wrong word isn't it.
* Wise River looked to the Empress whom was waiting for Dal's reply.

Dals Hologram hummed and whirred as he shifted in his stance and brought his hand up to pinch his chin. Obviously he was once again trying to give the outward appearance of being ponderous.
"The most efficient way of doing it would of course be to know where they want to strike. What are they trying to achieve by detracting us? We cant have the outward appearance of having our defenses up, or they may change their plan."
Dals hand dropped from his chin to his sides, he then shrugged and shook his head.
If we know that this unknown entrance is a likely location for enemies of the empire to enter from as Quar mentioned, we could be in for more trouble than we anticipated. Since there is no telling where this entrance could be we can't be sure which direction they will be coming from, at the very least we can make sure to have Zeriku and Sentinel at the ready to respond to any suspicious activity.
*Dal waved his hand in the air as if swirling smoke away with a fingertip.*
"That would prevent any noticeable security measures, but of course these people have been coming and going as they please under our noses for a while now. They are likely able to get around our sensors if thats the case... Fortunately that just means we have a smaller area to watch, we just need to pay attention to the areas we can't normally see."
*Dal paused and pondered for a few moments before an extremely grave look came over his face, his eyes widdened and he spoke slowly.*
"I think there are only two likely targets...
Unknown plateau as Sentinel mentioned, and the Emperor himself!
Unless anyone else can think of any others"

" Other targets?.... I had not thought about that... you are correct, we will have to do everything we can to protect the Emperor... The Unknown Plateau is secondary.
It is also hard to say if anything has been stolen from the Marina, now that we know someone has been in there... and to no fault of his own, Quar-Zagot has created an entrance to the Plateau which someone may steal something from.... and his tell of dragons within has me more than just a little worried. This is a problem indeed.... is there any more input? "

Resplendent Wood 3,
There could be many places they want to strike. This is a valuable empire and anyone who knows about it and lacks a positive affiliation very well might like to destroy it. Of course Ress is priority, so how do we find if he is a conduit for the outside? The only way that I can think of is if that something can become very small and attach itself to a person in some way. That would require the person to leave Imperveress, though. If there are any Lunars doing it then I will deal with them. Though I do doubt since there are rules and protocol to things like this. I believe that we should inspect the Plateau thoroughly, there are ways to find if something's been moved recently. And it would do well to know what sort of other dragons are there. So much time has passed since the last rulers that I would not be surprised to find more Elemental Dragons much like Quar-Zagot.
*Arachnia took in a breath and turned to Wise River, letting it out with a mischevious smile*
Of course, sweet Moonbeam, you will be inducted into Lunar society as soon as the situation here is solved. As it stands, you are already on your way
*the spider's eyes flashed with amusement that belied secrecy as she winked at her foundling and tuned back to the table*
Dal'Lumen, given the information at hand, how strong would you say our case is? Admittedly, debate was more Ress's forte than my own

*Wise River looked at the photo. Nothing came to mind while she looked at the two figures. She handed the photo back to the Empress. She thought more of the idea of being welcomed into the Lunars. The idea of being a part of the society made her grin, this would mean more adventures, something Wise River was always up for.*
Excellent.

*Dal sighed and shook his head*
"At this point... like trying to dress a pig in a fine silk dress, we just can't make this look good in the public eye I'm afraid."
*He proceeded to narrate his words with his hands, carefully picking motions for each point he made.*
"Unless we can find a connection between all of these bits and pieces, we don't have much more than a case of pity, and . I can spin it, but there's little chance any sort of jury would find him innocent with this insubstantial evidence. We also need to ensure that we convince the majority... A fault may form between the supporters of the emperor, and those that would see the empire changed. Worst case we could have a civil war on our hands."
"We need to keep our eyes and ears open for any new developments that may come up. Hurtle some obstacles, and find something more..."
*Dal pointed at the two figures Lirimana had produced*
"Our best chance is finding those responsible for this, and drag them out into the light for all to see."
*A twitch of anger ripped at the side of Dals lip and his past stabbed back into his mind like a white hot blade.*
He stopped to think about how someone from back then, someone with ought humanity, as he saw it, might attempt to redress the situation. They might have just tried to pin it on the first defenseless slob that they could dig up. He wasn't even going to suggest it.

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Arachnia looked to the people gathered in the room and nodded before speaking*
Alright then, I suppose that to go farther on with this meeting at this stage will create a waste of valuable time. For now let us adjourn and reconvene in two days' time here at the Imperial Manse. If any of us comes across dire information or evidence then contact Sentinel or Zeriku immediately and we will connect in that event
*the Empress turned her attention to Sentinel, who was in thought*
Sentinel, you and Zeriku are to be on full alert until this trial is over and behind us
*shifting her gaze to the full room again, Arachnia brushed back a lock of hair before continuing*
If there are no further questions, you may leave. I will see you in two days, hopefully sooner

Respledent Wood 3,
*Lirimana sighed a little to herself as she realized how little they really had and how much they had to go back and amend. It pained her to admit it, but Arachnia had a good idea when she came up with this meeting so far in advance. It gave them time to look for what they didn't have, and that was important. She looked up at the others and shook her head, a few of her dreadlocks swaying*
Nothing here so far

Resplendent Wood, 3 Dal gave a short bow of acknowledgment to the Empress' adjorunment.
"Very well, I will continue pooring over the case evidence, and planning the defense of Ress. I can only hope we can find more to use as ammunition. If anything else comes up, please bring it to the attention of the rest of us immediatly. I will also stay on alert, ensuring that the Squid is delt with should it become a problem."
With that, Dal gave another bow as his hologram form rippled out of existance.

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Arachnia nodded to those who were leaving and stood, gesturing for Wise River to follow*
Zeriku, make sure no one gets into the Armory or the Plateau before we touch the Warstriders. If the guards come down too soon and no one is watching.. Well, you know as well as I do that bad things can happen
*A voice rang out softly in the vicinity of Arachnia, a woman's voice that could be recognized as the silver woman's*
Yes, Arachnia. I will personally stand watch over them
Good. Now, Wise River, I have a few things to attend to and you must be tired from the long day. Follow me to your room for the night, we will find something a little more permanent in the next couple of days
*the Empress walked down the hall and looked to the young Lunar, her garments sliding silkily against each other as her his swayed from side to side. She stopped at a door and opened it, exposing a lightly-furnished room with a very comfortable-looking bed, a small bedside table with a drawer that she would find holding a quill with ink and parchment for writing, a closet and a trunk for her things being the main highlights other than the window that was currently holding the moon for viewing*
I hope this will be satisfactory for the time being. The baths are down the hall a little farther on the right if you like. If that is all, please excuse me for the night. If there is an emergency or you have any questions, Sentinel or Zeriku are always in hearing range if you want them to be. Sleep well, I will fetch you in the morning
*Arachnia offered Wise River a small bow and proceeded to turn silver and shrink down into the shape of a bird, solidifying as a female raven. Beating her wings, she took off and flew out the front doors and off to Ress' s cell*

Resplendent Wood 3,
*since the meeting was over, Lirimana stood and stretched, sighing to herself again before waving to the others as she left. The Twilight wandered down the hall towards the Warbird, her head full of thoughts. She hoped to get to sleep tonight, what with all of the segments filling her head. The hatch opened as she got near and she got in, glad that it wasn't her who was driving tonight. Tomorrow she would have to have Zeriku show her how to use the Warbird's controls. It wasn't long until she was back to the Manse and she got out again, muttering a thank you to Zeriku as she made her way through the doors and into her room by memory, curious now about what the Manse above this one was like as well as the current situation with Ress*

Resplendent Wood 3 *Wise River listened to the Empress. She made an excellent point, the day had been a long and draining one. Just learning about this new world she was involved with made he mind whir with excitement. Excitement that made her body tired and weak. It was definitely time to relax in the room set aside for her. Maybe not sleep but definitely still her mind for a few moments.*
An excellent idea. I think I just may.
* Wise River arose from her seat and left the room quietly.
