Resplendent Wood, 2/3
Dal' made good time traveling through the streets of Beziar when the sun was down there was little foot traffic, and the vender's were pulling in their stalls for the night. It only took him about half an hour to get to his manse and into the hearth room. Arachnia would be expecting him to attend that meeting very soon, if not waiting on him already...
"Sentinel... where are you? What was that thing, what stirred all those sea creatures into activity?"
Dal' Stood in the center of the hearth room, panting from his run and the exhilarating fight before it.
"Man... that got hairy too damn fast!"
( 2 dif 5 total success run to Beziar manse)

* Summoned by the call of his name, the golden man known only as Sentinel appeared before Dal, his back facing the perplexed Zenith. He looked to the wet ground of the hearth room for a moment, before lifting his head up to stare at the console which was grafted into the very pearl of the Manse. He took in a long, deep breath before exhaling and answering Dal's question*
" Not one of my finest moments.... well... that thing was an experiment... and it would have worked too... had not those troublesome outsider Dragon-Blooded not raided this Empire and left it unfinished... a shame really... Resplendent Undersea Line breaker Unit and Amphibious Ally Enforcer Mark 12 would have been a crown jewel of Righteous, should it have been finished...... and yes... I realize it was a poor name... but it was a placeholder at the time. Nevertheless... Too many of its systems are only half operational, and they are making the necessary essence flows both myself and Zeriku need to manifest impossible to obtain.
To make a long story short... it was built to sink demon ships of the foul Lintha Pirates, as well as prevent Fair Folk invasion through the oceans... and should it have ever been outnumbered... it could command the creatures of the sea... Now, I suppose it is counting everything with powerful essence as a threat, and plans to terminate to its full extent.
Now then... I am not Wholly without ideas, but they require permission from those that rule.... besides.. it is unsure if anyone is in serious danger at this time.
Does this answer your questions, Mister Dal'Lumen?"

Dal took a few strides towards the control panel, and began pulling levers and pressing buttons in a familiar pattern. Talking over his shoulder to Sentinel.
"That does answer, damn It would have been nice to have one of those when I was still out west... For now we will cross that bridge when we come to it, by what seems to be fortune, those things only seemed to respond once I got too close to the Marina. So as long as everyone keeps their usual distance we should be ok? I'm going to be meeting with the others here in just a moment, I'm sure you will be there, so we can ask about your idea ahead of time."
Dal' glanced over his shoulder to look at the spot over the fountain where the glowing light ball usually appeared and pulled the final crystal lever that activated it.
"Good to see you're back with us Sentinel, I'll see you at the meeting."

Rising from the bow he had left the meeting with, Dal'Lumen rounded to look back at Sentinel. An eerie grin creased from ear to ear, the whites of his teeth glowing with a faint blue light from the room's ambiance.
"Warstriders? That sounds... fun. Where and what are they? Will everyone else be able to respond in time to help at the marina should your machines missbehave?"

* In Dal's Manse, Sentinel held the same thoughtful expression he dis within the Imperial Manse, though Dal's question did knock him back to reality, causing him to look up.
Sentinel smiled a little, then held his hand out, palm up. An image appeared within his palm of a humanoid machine, seemingly made from orichalcum, but the golden glow of Sentinel meant it could be almost anything. In the hand of this machine was a large axe... and if this was not enough.... Sentinel went so far as to make a to scale replica of Dal himself standing next to the machine, showing that this thing was perhaps 18 feet tall or so*
" This is a Warstrider... a first age magically technological wonder. It was originally designed to take down behemoths and large creatures that wandered into creation from the wyld. On average, these enormous suit of armor increase the wearers combat effectiveness by ten fold. These can be found in the Armory, of which I have just lowered the security for. We can retrieve them first thing tomorrow."

Dal was practically drooling.
"I get to ride one of those?! I mean... that is... IF the U.L.R. comes back. How many wonders does this Empire have?!"
*Dal grinned and gave a 'what if' glance off in the direction of the marina.*
"Right then, I had better rest, if tomorrow is going to be anything like today was, I'll need as much as I can get. See you tomorrow my friend."
Dal turned to walk away down the hall sniffing the air for any sign that more of Quie-Ra's home cooking might be hiding somewhere in the kitchen. A flash of insight crossed his eyes and he spun back around before Sentinel disappeared again.
"It's strange, but are you... well, Sentinel. We lost you for a little while there, is everything still... working? You seem a little off your game is all I'm saying."

* The image swiftly dissapeared as Sentinel closed his palm and brought his arms back across his chest*
" Yes, there are many thousands of hidden wonders here in Imperveress... but sadly, there is something wrong with my memory... it seems I have been tampered with in some way, and when I try to figure out how or recall certain memories... I begin breaking down. I believe this to be related with the recent conviction, but it is in no way threatening to my existence or the well being of the Empire directly... so this has to be a calculated attack..... I am sorry, I have been thinking about this for the past half hour.... but get some sleep... this will be a dangerous day tomorrow... but I will keep a watch over the rest of the Empire"

Dal nodded, and yawned loudly.
"You should probably let someone else know about your memory... maybe we can fix it, In fact, let Arachnia know just as soon as possible - it could be important."
It was clear that Dal was starting to feel the hardships of the day, and his tone was strangely apathetic. As he turned and walked away he scratched his chin and swayed down the hall towards his room, where he would collapse face first, but the peace of slumber was short lived, soon the nightmares were back, his rest shattered by the horrors of the world inside his dreams... his slumber was more like battle, and the sound of familiar voices screaming his name gave his heart little constitution for the day.
(Sleep 2 success)
