* Reed, still bandaged up from his ordeal with the forbidden god, returned to his combing of the more rural parts of the empire and this has brought him way out into the eastern fringe of the empire.

With pack over shoulder, Reed literally left no stone left unturned in his quest for relics of the past, but unlike more of his treks, Reed was not alone.

At his heels, the tiny form of a boar piglet with wyld mutation tentacles on either side of its snout could be seen sniffing around at the rocks and ground.

After an hour of searching near the outer manse, the piglet began to squeel, calling Reed over to him.

Reed jumped slightly when he saw what it was his little friend had found, then dropped to his knees and scooped it up into his bag*
