*Towering Oak stared up at the expansive wall in front of him, His forehead creased in wondering, His bald head gleaming from the sun behind him. He cocked his head, as if he was trying to listen for something, and a stylized Solar Sunburst suddenly appeared on his forehead. He turned in a slow circle quickly scanning the forest behind him, hand resting on the hilt of his large golden hammer hanging from his hip. Satisfied that there was no one around him he turned back towards the vast wall impeding his progress. He reached over his left shoulder, grasping his second Goremaul and pulled it out. He held it up in front of him and looked from it to the the wall. He shook his head and placed the Goremaul back in its place on his back. He chuckled softly at the thought of what he could have done and his eye twinkled in amusement. As the amusement died he rubbed his head as he pondered his choices. He smiled as he quickly strode to the wall and placed his ear to it. He pull his fist back and slammed it into the wall, putting all the strength his 7'10" Body could muster into the blow. He blinked his eye as he pulled back from the wall and looked off to his right. He glanced down at his pack straps, making sure that they were tight, even though he knew they were. He started walking, following the wall, towards the Opening he heard in the wall. He shook his head as he walked wondering what was on the other side of the wall, and why it pulled at him as it did.*

* At the huge archway entrance, an almost transparent glowing man stood, clad in grand first age orichalcum breastplate armor, his arms crossed across his chest as he stared back at the large one eyed man before him. His short brown hair glowed slightly, giving him a divine look to him. He was an imposing figure, despite being shorter than the towering man (6' 1")* " I would advise greatly against hostile intrusion, Solar... It could lead to most undesirable repercussions.. now then.. turn back now, put away your weapons... or if you so choose, discover what the third option might be "

*The tall man looked down at the translucent image of a man in front of him. At its mention of his weapons, Oak looked down at one of his goermauls, and chuckled, as it was still securely fastened to his hip. He shook his head as he looked back to the figure.* Not hostile. *As the words left Towering Oak's mouth he took a step forward, approaching the shimmering image.*

* The hologram blinked a moment.. then spoke up once more* " Well then... Thats more like it. Well, large stranger.. Welcome to the empire of Imperveress. It is clear to me that you are a Solar. Are you passing through these lands, or perhaps you are seeking somewhere safe to save? If it is in fact the latter, the ruler of these lands seeks Solars to help increase and expand his empire. Emperor Ress Has told me on many an occasion he would reward handsomely any Solar who would swear allegiance. You would be wise to join, tall Solar. The wonder and potential of these lands are surpassed only by the Emperor... and perhaps the Solars who would help him lead. And so.. what do you say, giant Solar?" (11 success social attack to further interest him in the idea of aiding in an empire and obtaining power within it. He has appearance 4)

*Towering Oak smiled at the image in front of him. As the image spoke to him Towering Oak glanced back wards, as if expecting someone to appear at any moment. As the image concluded it's speech Towering Oak peered around the image, studying the land beyond him. After several long seconds of intense scrutiny, Towering Oak reverted his one-eyed gaze down on the little image of a man in front of him and nodded.* I'm Game.

*.... the hologram man blinked a few more times... finding it strange to not find a long winded solar. With a shrug and a chuckle, he pointed out through the archway and into the open lands* " go out into the empire and seek out Emperor Ress... you will find him within the central manse... you made a wise choice, Solar.... I will see you again soon" * the transparent form of the man slowly dissapeared, leaving the giant man all along, with nothing laying before him but destiny*

*Towering Oak stared at the spot that, until moments before, had contained the image of a man. After several minutes he shrugged and started towards the center, where the man-image had told him this Emperor Ress was residing. As he walked he started to whistle a happy tune, a horrid High-pitched screeching sound that his wife had always said reminded her of a dying stryx. At that thought Towering Oak stopped whistling, and if fact, walking altogether. He sighed and looked around and spotted a little pond. He walked over to it and stared into it. The water seemed exceptionally clear for such a small body of water and from within it, he stared back. He was a large man, not fat but bigger than anyone he had ever met. His face was sad, with some stubble starting to cling to the sides of it. Towering Oak reached up to his face and barely contained fury danced in his single remaining eye as Oak removed the eye patch covering his left eye and he examined the ruined flesh and scar tissue that had once been a fully functional eye. He had never been a pretty man, in fact, most of his life he had been ostracized because there had always been this something about him that always seem to unnerve even the most stalwart of men. Towering Oak shook his head, shaking him out of his dreary thoughts, light reflecting off his head into the water. He replaced the eye patch and took in the rest of his appearance, his dark leather pants that were starting to look a touch frayed in spots and his good linen shirt, dyed his favorite color by the one person who had ever loved him. Towering Oak shook his head again, even more violently, refusing to allow himself to get sucked by these dark thoughts. He sighed and looked away from the pond, completely forgetting that he had intended to drink from it originally, and stared the direction he had been heading. In the distance he could make out a building. He figured that must be the Manse the man-image had told him about and Towering Oak set off once more, determined to reach the manse, hopefully out running his past at the same time...*

*Arachnia was greeting Lirimana when Towering Oak arrived and she looked to him and purred out her greeting* Hello Solar, We've been expecting you.. Please, come in and meet Emperor Ress.. *Arachnia stared at him with unblinking pure black eyes, there wasn't even whites, only black, kind of like the demons in movies, or spiders.. Her hair was long and silky black and waved down her pale torso to just above that perfectly full behind and tapered off. Her lips were a soft rose red that whispered out her words as though she caressed each one and currently they were formed into a smile. She wore a clingy black gown that swept across the floor as she started walking, the arms a spiderweb netting. Currently she wore no extra adornments, though she hardly needed them* ((Appearance 4))
