* He nodded, gave her a bow, blew her a kiss, then a wink, before turning and leaving his manse, going down the elevator that was commonly used within this manse. When he left, he looked up at the warm, eastern sun and smiled, silently thanking the sun for this land he had, and the mate he had grown to love so much. he then made his way to the sorcerous city of kideshen*
*Arachnia decided around five minutes after Ress had left the room that she felt like going, too, and so she would. Her form melted down to reshape itself into a bird, and she took off, following Ress*
* Ress continued to walk.. not at all disgusted by a little manual labor. he smirked a little as his caste mark flaired. his movements became much faster as the power of his charm coursed through him. he kept his sights upon the southeast, where he knew kideshin was... and Lirimana was waiting with secrets*
*Arachnia continued to soar overhead, enjoying the feel of the wind through her flight feathers and the sun on her back*
* Ress continued to run as such, untill he either met up with Lirimana or Kideshin *
*Just outside Kideshen, maybe an hour's walk, Ress would find Lirimana, who had also been running. A bit of sweat trickled down her brow as she pushed herself. It felt good, exhilarating.. As Ress caught up to her, Lirimana smiled and waved* Oh, I didn't think I'd see you so soon... Shall we continue to the Manse, then?...
* his Anima was a bonfire by this time, he had spent as much essence as he could to speed his journey, as well as spent his will to keep from tiring out. He panted a bit as he stopped before her, a few beads of sweat dripping down his own brow. he tossed his hair out of his face and smiled at lirimana, giving her a bow* Hello Lirimana. I came as fast as I could.. I have heard you have discovered something of importance? I am very excited to hear what it is... to your manse? of course! * he nodded as he followed her to the manse he had given her... well.. partially given her.. since the spirit of the fields also resides within this huge structure*
*Lirimana nodded and slowed down to match his pace, panting some herself* Of course. It's not exactly private, but my quarters are well enough.. *once they reached the Manse, she showed him inside and to where she held dominion, gesturing to a seat* Would you like to sit and rest? I can get you some water..
*Arachnia followed them down into the city and landed on the Manse where she took a moment to shift her form once more and crawled onto Lirimana's leather clothing, figuring that she wouldn't feel her. She was here to eavesdrop*
water would be wonderful... thank you very much Lirimana * He took a seat, still panting a little.. but then again, he did run many MANY miles* Not private?.. how so not?.. this manse is smaller than my manse.. but still, you could house an army here... does the spirit of the field truly take so much space? * he cocked his head a bit, wondering if he needed to come down upon this spirit*
*Lirimana chuckled as she got him some water. Handing it to him, she shook her head* I just meant that I'm not the only tenant here. If you want more, you're welcome to it *she set the pitcher down next to him on the table and sat down across from him* Now, down to business... Do you remember that I told you I would tell you my secret? Well, it concerns that secret, what I have to tell you
* He smiled and took the glass, downing half of it in the first gulp, then panted a bit* Thank you very much, Lirimana.... Oh? your secret? what secret might that be, Lirimana? * he was a little disappointed that she did not have a secret about his lands.... but that was okay,,, he can find those later* now, what might this secret be, Lirimana? * he sounded genuinely interested... which he was, though still he was disappointed*
Well *she shrugged, not knowing how to put it, really. She hadn't told anyone before, actually...* I guess the easiest way to put it is that I sometimes dream of the future, what might be. Normally, I wouldn't say anything, but if I'm going to be entirely helpful, then I think you should know *she paused to gauge his reaction*
...* he blinked a few times.... flabbergasted by what she had said. it took a few moments to gather himself* truly?... what a divine gift indeed. and it only comes in dreams? what have you dreamt lately? anything of great importance?
*she wasn't quite sure he believed her, but she didn't have much choice.. She thought he should at least be informed, whether he listened or not* So far, only in dreams, yes.. That's what I wanted to talk to you about. I had a dream about Imperveress my first night here.. I saw many things... What looked to be an Earth-Aspected Dragon of some sort, a mechanical squid on an ocean floor, and then an image of Imperveress. It was in a Golden Age, but the scene disappeared into the Juggernaut making its way here. Then a fight between someone and the Dynastic Dragon-Blooded, Warstriders were involved... And then... I dreamt of the Demon, Ligier.... I know it was him because he became a green metal sun.. and then you were overlooking your city as it warped and changed as though in the Wyld... I'm not sure what it means entirely, but I was thinking that you must know some of these people.. Have you angered any of them, made friends of any?
* He blinked some more, leaning back away from her in disbelief... he took in a deep breath, closing his eyes as he gathered himself once more* friends of deathlords and demons?.... ridiculous... though that is an interesting talent you have... no doubt could prove useful
and what of enemies, Ress? Are you enemies of Deathlords and Demons? *Lirimana raised a brow at him in question, trying to figure out how these particular entities, especially Ligier, ended up in her dream*
Deathlords? No... I do not traffic with the dead... not at all * he shook his head, then gave a nod* Up in the North, we feared the eye and seven despairs.... I would never take one as an ally and would think twice before taking one as an enemy
... did you piss off The Green Sun?..... *Lirimana looked dead into his eyes, daring him to look away and confirm her suspicions. He kept avoiding he subject of Demons* If you did, we need to know so that we can prepare...
................. * he sighed, then smirked* Yes!... I did.. I destroyed Liger, the dreaded green metal sun.... I tricked him onto my land... and I shot him dead.... * he made a motion, as if grabbing a bow and shooting an arrow* bam!..... have you seen that crater miles from my manse?.... thats where it happened
*now it was her turn to blink for a moment* Truly? Then we just might be in a predicament... Who knows if he'll be so easy to get rid of this time... In my dream there was a lot of emphasis on that fight that involved the Dynasts.. I'm not sure if that has to do with Imperveress, but it might affect it in some way... By the way, you're amazing... *she shook her head some* I've never met someone who shot Ligier and lived to tell about it...
Do not worry Lirimana... only a sorcerer can summon one as powerful as Ligier... I doubt we will see him again soon...... but that is neither here nor there. * his conviction wavered a bit.. no longer solid in his dominating demeanor. * Dynasts?.... I do believe they would send a Wyld hunt for me first.... and that I am ready for * he winked, then pulled back his invisible bow*
Still... I wouldn't get too cocky.. *she shrugged* Just an observation. Anyway, I thought you ought to know. After all, it does concern your Empire..
mmm.. of course... * he nodded, rubbing his chin a bit, before raising a brow* Are you sure it was the dynasts and not the seventh legion?....they are dragonblooded all the same.... hopefully.... we can find whatever my past incarnation used to defend this place and re-activate them..... and I thin they are in that armory....
*she shrugged again* That's what they looked like to me. I suppose there might be a chance it was Seventh Legion.. Either way, Dragon Blooded in those numbers are dangerous. And since I don't know whose Warsrtriders those were, I don't know if they were using them... That should be one of our goals, to reclaim that Armory!
... Reclaim the armory... * he nodded*... there is something in there... something with blue glowing eyes.... whatever it is... it used to work for me in the first age... but now it wants to keep whatever I have in that armory.... * he gritted his teeth in anger, feeling the sting of betrayal in his very soul... somewhere in his remembered exactly what this thing was*
well, then, we'll just have to think of a way to get it back on our side. No use in killing something useful if it's not broken, hmm?
Perhaps...... if such a thing is possible........ I think this thing is too powerful to keep alive.... perhaps it is even absorbing what is in there........ its too difficult to tell
Well, there's really only one way to find out. Maybe there is something you can do to negotiate with it. Or maybe if it feels you are worthy of respect, it will be more readily obeisant
hummm... that is difficult to say.... perhaps we can at thet.... * her words calmed him down, giving him hope that he might take something from the armory, more than mere weaponry*....... we must stage a move on the armory
but we have to be careful and thoughtful. If respect is what it is going to give you, you need to work to be worthy of it. No offense, but if respect is the issue, you're not worthy yet. It might be something to think on, maybe look through your databases and see if you can find anything..
