Everyone knows that unlike most games, Exalted is alive and ever evolving. This is wonderful because it means the game is constantly relieving itself of its imperfections... but also provides an irritating extra step in finding the latest rules. Luckily! I am here and I will be posting the most recent changes to our favorite game!
1st of all, Remember that whole spending xp to craft a combo?... GONE. Now you only need have the charms to use the combo. They will still, of course put out a huge display, but don't need a willpower point to initiate, making willpower hoarding a thing of the past!
Next, minimum "ping" damage is no longer equal to essence. Just like 1st edition, ping damage is 1, lowering the lethality problem that Exalted used to have
Yet another lethality fix was the lowering of weapon damage statistics (uploading in process), as well as the change of the piercing tag from halving armor to lowering soak by 4. Now that ping damage is 1, the overwhelming tag has been added to more weapons.
More exciting, all armor in the core rulebook above 3 dots is now 3 dots.
All perfect defenses have been raised to 8 motes
