Resplendent Fire 11,
*Somewhere within the ruins a deafening crash sounded as large rocks and other detritus slammed into the ground. Within the echoing noise it made a shout of surprise rang out, laced with anger. Dust rolled through the area and birds clamored for the sky, calling out in their aggravation and fear for the disturbing of their resting places.
Underneath the towering mess was HreSan, and it was all she could do to control herself and not go on a rampage at the sheer audacity of the rocky avalanche that had fallen on top of her. Yes, it was partially her fault, if she hadn't decided to grab the handle and rip it free the rocks probably wouldn't have crumbled. But still, this was supposed to be a gift for Khan... Dammit, there was no way she could lose to some rocks, she was stronger than them. As she grumbled mentally, HreSan kept tugging and shifting the little rocks so that they would shift the bigger ones. Unfortunately that sometimes caused them to pinch her tighter and she had to continuously slow her beating heart lest she lose what air she had left. Thanks the Gods she had kept her hair bound otherwise it might have been stuck between a whole bunch of rocks, and she wasn't able to get her knife out to cut it off. Maybe she should just lop the braid off if she got out, when she got out. Then if this crap ever happened again she wouldn't have to worry about it getting stuck somewhere.... She really did like her hair, though, and despite all the others telling her she should, she's always managed to make the hair handicap into a serviceable weapon. A whole lot of good it was doing her now.
Was it just in her mind or was it getting harder to breathe? Was there less air? Damn, when had she taken her last breath? Carefully, she exhaled and took in another few sips of air. A wave of dizziness washed over her and she pushed through it. What was she doing? Oh yeah, trying not to die. The realization hit her again and she growled deep in her throat. There was nothing okay with this, she would not die from some cocky rocks! Anger boiled through her and she used her remaining strength to push a large rock aside. She could see light! A bit of air trickled through and she smiled just before falling unconscious*

Resplendent Fire, 11
* While meditating, The collar that Honored Brother wore around his neck began to pulse, pulling him back into reality. He quickly got to his feet, running for the nearest window and leapt out of it. Remembering exactly how Dal'Lumen did it, he pit his thumb and index finger to his lips, then blew, making the whistle sound that summoned the ferrying air elementals. His knees bent out of habit as he landed, the cloud flattened under him and expanded, looking like one of the wispy clouds of the summer months.
Honored Brother's collar pulsed faster as he closed in on what he felt was the epicenter of the disturbance, a set of ruins who's image pulsed in time with his red jade collar.
Honored brother bent to one knee, then hopped off the cloud, landing many feet below in a cloud of dust. Without missing a beat, Honored Brother ran out to the pile of rubble, his skin and eyes now glowing red as his anima swelled.
Quickly assessing the situation, Honored brother began breaking the rubble around the epicenter, knowing someone was down there, but hoping that they were close enough to the surface that he could get to them in time*

Resplendent Fire 11,
*moments before Honored Brother showed up HreSan woke and took a moment to assess herself. Since she had fallen unconscious she could feel the dizziness accompanying lack of oxygen and found that when she tried to move that she was now pinned. The rumbling of someone approaching as she started wiggling in tiny increments confused her and her eyes narrowed at the sounds. Suddenly what little air she had became very hot and she felt like swooning. This was not the time, she could tell there wasn't much time before she was dead and it didn't seem like the rumbling above her was helping. The breaking of rocks tumbled down on her and she coughed, wasting precious air and inhaling dust and bits of rocks*
*a silvery figure of a beautiful woman in pelts appeared next to the digging dragon and looked down at the pile of rocks. She put a hand up for Honored Brother to stop what he was doing and then smiled. Giving him a wink she knelt down and reached her hand into the little space to where HreSan was and a moment later silver light was bursting through every crack in the rubble. The woman took a step back and stood waiting, brushing her shoulder-length ice-white hair out of her face*
*within moments of the silver lady showing up the rocks shook and rumbled, shifting until they were pushed up and moved away by sheer force. Huffing and wild-eyed, HreSan stood in the midst of all the stone, looking straight at the silver woman in awe and admiration, and after a moment the woman disappeared leaving the young woman and Honored Brother alone together. Color had quickly returned to her face and now the girl turned to the Dragon-Blooded, the silver thing she had refused to let go of still in her hand. On closer inspection it was a grand goremaul in moonsilver, looking pretty good for the ordeal they had just gone through together. As if registering his presence in a more stable mindset, HreSan cocked her head to the side at him in a rather avian gesture*
Um, who are you?

* Honored Brother stopped when the silvery woman motioned, his collar halted its pulsing in kind. He dropped the boulder in his hand ad set it back down, mesmerized by this being and all the while wondering who this goddess could be that could have this sort of power over him.
He was not surprized to see that this being could move these rocks easily as one could blow flour off a table, but it puzzled him as to why she would be interested in the life of this trapped citizen.
Honored Brother stepped back, but remained ready, lest this being turn out to be a demon in disguise or any other sort of harmful spirit*

Resplendent Fire 11,
Oh... you're a Dragon Blooded? You look like one... You're not going to try and kill me are you? I'd rather not have to explain that to the Emperor....
*HreSan's silver aura undulated as she stood there and she looked poised to move, just in case he launched a sneak attack. She'd never met this guy before, but he seemed like he wasn't too sure what to do himself. She felt like she could take on the world, but if this guy was really some sort of crazy kung fu master then his attacks might hurt. She looked from him and off in the direction where the now-gone woman had been standing. A smile lit her lips as she remembered the last few moments, but made sure to keep a firm grip on the weapon and an eye on her potential foe*

Resplendent Fire 11,
* Honored Brother's face hardened slightly as he widened his stance squaring it, then lowered himself, bringing his right hand back near his left knee and his left hand held out in front of him, ready to bat away any attacks that should come to him*
" I have not come here to fight, but if you insist, I will not hesitate to defend myself. I came here to help you out from under the rubble... but it seems you found ways to help yourself... but what I am wondering now... did you just rob strength from the moon, or did you save yourself though means that I have yet to understand?"
* His muscles pulsed as he stood there, his skin rapidly turning red and releasing head from the expenditure of essence*

Resplendent Fire 11,
*HreSan looked at him bewildered and sighed, maintaining her ready stance in case he wasn't just posturing. Her expression turned insulted and then angry*
What is it with you stupid Dragon Blooded? Why can't I have earned my power? Just because all of you are self-righteous assholes doesn't mean that I stole my power from the moon, and I'll have you know that she blessed me with this gift! How dare you!
*her muscles twitched under her skin and the silver light billowing off of her rippled in response to her anger and readiness in case he took the fight to her*
This should be a time of honor and happiness and you soil it with such terrible accusations! If you were really here to help, then why turn on me now, because I've become something you can't control? Disgusting, you're the monster here, not me
*she turned her head and spit on the ground, as though to get the thought and words out of her mouth in a more physical manner than just speech*

Resplendent Fire 11,
* Honored brother reached for the two short swords in holsters on his belt, his stance became relaxed as the situation changed slightly... being a fire aspect many times meant knowing your first reaction is rarely the correct one*
" It seems you are insistent on a fight... and those who go looking for trouble tend to find more of it than they bargained for.
My intention is to take you back to Emperor Ress... wether that is walking side by side, or with your unconscious body slung over my shoulder... either way you want, I can provide... now then, do we both calm down and stop this inane back and forth... or are you particularly set on trying out your new power?"

Resplendent Fire 11,
*HreSan made an irritated sound, somewhat like a disgruntled bird who was unhappy with its neighbor. If he wasn't actually trying to fight her, then she should probably woman-up and not take the fight to an unnecessary level. She took a few breaths to calm herself, allowing her outrage to flow through her and into the earth. Kahn had taught her a few martial arts stances, and she used one of those to center before answering him, keeping most of the disdain out of her voice*
Trying to look righteous while making me look like the hotheaded demon? Precious. As much as I'd like to smack you for insulting me and accusing me of atrocities, I will hold off for now. But know that I am watching you, and if you make a move to come after me, I will defend myself.

" I wouldnt doubt that you would... now come with me... I would imagine proper protocol to be going and seeing the Emperor about all this"
* Honored brother nodded, then turned around, walking in the direction of The Imperial manse, hoping that she would follow close behind*

Resplendent Fire 11,
*HreSan marched quietly behind Honored Brother, stalking him with her eyes as she looked for weak points. She was surprised to find that he didn't seem to have any, even while walking. This disconcerted her and she narrowed her eyes, increasing her search. She felt a bit like a slave and sped up so that her strides kept her in pace at the Dragon-Blooded's side instead of behind him. The odd calm before a battle fell over her, though her suspicions remained, and she kept her head high and her gait assured*
