*right outside of the empire a stunning woman (5 app) emerged from the river to stand on the water in front of the manse, her form dripping with water. She tossed back algae-green hair and skin was blue with white, light blue and dark blue freckles that appeared to flow across her body like a river. Her serpentine body was clad in a pair of shorn silk shorts and a strapless shirt that came up to tie around her neck but stopped short just above her belly button. The style claimed its roots in a peasant's travel-style but the material was silk and as the dawning sun began to bring light to the city her clothes shined softly like light on the water. She tried not to tap her foot impatiently despite that she had just arrived, but she found herself eager to get her on her way*

* In an instant, Emperor Ress' form appeared atop the waves, casting the golden rays of his hologram for many yards. He bowed to the watery woman who visited his empire, then looked up to speak... stumbling backwards when he saw something off screen, but quickly recomposed himself*

" Well hello madam elemental! Welcome to Imperveress! I am Emperor Ress. Now tell me, what can I do for you and what do you seek?"

*the woman nodded and smiled at him, putting a hand on her hip and trying to be respectful*

Hello, are you the new emperor? You don't look like the Sentinel I expected to encounter. My name is Mother Torrent and I'm here to see my daughter. I'm rather late and I need to make it up to her so hopefully I won't need to do too much paperwork

* Ress nodded, thinking over the empire, trying to go down the list of who could possibly be this elemental's child*

" I see. You are here to see your daughter?.... and you know Sentinel?!"

* Once more, Ress was taken back. he looked over his shoulder, out of the hologram's projection, then back to Mother Torrent*

" Well... Welcome Mother Torrent... to The Mighty Empire. I trust your stay will be enjoyable to everyone you see.

Is there anything else I can do for you?"

Yes, I knew both the current one, unless someone else has died since then, and the one before that. I know my visit will be pleasurable, it will be interesting to see how the empire has changed since the last time I was here

*Mother Torrent shifted her weight from one foot to the other, though it was hard to tell as the water was running over them*
