Resplendent fire, 12
* Kenis stopped just short of the ruined and rubbled infrastructure before him. A small squeal of joy escaped him as he imagined what sort of goods could be found out there in the dirt, rocks and vines... this couldn't have been touched in a thousand years, so he thought.
With a sigh and a nod, He looked Ixele and bowed to her once more*
" Ladies first! Ladies are also first to pick as well, so lets get crackin!"

Resplendent Fire 12,
*Ixele laughed and jogged into the ruins, picking a spot that looked like it might be hiding something. She knelt down and started moving rubble carefully, not wanting to damage anything she might find in her search*
Whoever finds the first valuable object gets taken to dinner by the other one

Resplendent fire, 12
* Kenis followed close behind, placing his hand on the rocks before him and channeling his essence through it, shattering the rocks, leaving whatever was under them uncovered and untouched.
As he continued scavenging, he went from placing his hands on rocks to kicks and punches, reducing boulders and bits of ancient buildings to dust in seconds*
" Can't wait to find something great!"

Resplendent Fire 12,
*sifting through rubble and ancient stones with ease and patience, Ixele moved at a swift pace despite the somewhat tedious task she'd set herself on. A tilt of a rock here, pushing away vines there, she let her essence seep through her fingers into whatever she touched, helping her get a better look at what might be a part of or underneath the objects she was examining*
Me either!

* After a whole day of excavating, Kenis set up camp by hollowing out a slab of downed building. When the new day arrived, Kenis cooked them both up some sausage and grits ( its like oatmeal, except corn), then returned to scavenging.
Kenis imagined that this must be what it was like for the post shogunate scavengers.. turning over rocks that had not been touched in generations, in search of riches and power that were no longer manufactured in creation*
