Resplendent Fire 10,
*after waking up in the morning Le Soo Yi had skipped breakfast and gone right to the lower stables in the manse. Once she had found about the horses she had to visit them and give them a look over. She'd decided to wear her riding pants and a close-fitting shirt that was still light and comfortable. Brown boots on her feet climbed to fasten around her lower legs and she'd kept her hands bare instead of gloves.
As she entered the stable she took a deep breath of the pure animal smell the horses gave off and she smiled. Approaching the first horse she nickered gently and received a friendly greeting from each horse as she went down the line, patting each one on the nose. Once she'd introduced herself to them all she started looking and appraising their condition. One of the horses nuzzled her and she put her forehead to the bridge of the equine's nose and returned the favor*

::She had so busy figuring out her soldiers and getting settle she didn't have the time to truely spend a long time with her horses. She was going to make it up to them today. As she descended into the manse she pulled the carrots and horse cookies out of her pocket and made a soft whistle as she entered the stables. Her two horses whinnied back at her. She paused when she saw someone she didn't know in with her troups horses as well as her own::
Who are you.
::She was protective of the horses and it showed::

Resplendent Fire 10,
*the girl looked up, her short green hair ruffling a little as the horse mouthed it teasingly. She flashed a grin at the stoic-looking woman who glared at her. With a quick glance she could tell that the woman was miffed about something, and given the reaction of the horses a moment before she had showed up, Le Soo Yi figured that this lady must be their owner. She purposefully ignored the glance-daggers and patted the horse goodbye before striding up to the scarlet-tressed woman, hand extended to shake*
Hi hi, I'm Le Soo Yi

::She looked to her horses and then at the hand. She saw how they had greeted her and they didn't take to strangers as part of their training. She relaxed a little and looked this woman up and down before taking her hand and shaking with a firm grip. Her scarlet leaved hair slipped over her shoulder rustling softly::
I am Scarlet Falling Leaves can I help you.
::her green eyes seemed to glimmer in the lighting. Her horses nickered at her knowing she had treats. She smiled a little and then came over to the silver dapple and gently patted her giving her a piece of carrot. She gently scratched under her forelock::

Resplendent Fire 10,
*Le Soo Yi shook back, her grip firm, though not as militant as Scarlet Falling Leaves's was*
I think I'll just call you Leaves.. or Scarlet, your choice. These are some pretty horses you've got here. Some decent breeding stock, I've definitely made miracles with worse
*she shot another smile to the leafy woman as she leaned against a beam, stroking the nearest one on the nose and under the chin*

::She looked puzzled at Yi's comment and smirked a little::
Leaves is fine and which do you prefer Yi or Le
::She felt a little challenged and wanted to return the challenge. She was showing her lookshy upbringing and her commander role::
And yes my horses are of good breeding. I also trained them.

Resplendent Fire 10,
Doesn't matter to me, whatever name is easier for you. I even respond to "hey, you!"
*she chuckled a little at her own joke, a flash of a smirk going through her features as she noted the challenge in her company's tone*
That's good, I can see they trust you. It's always best to have that kind of interaction with your partner. I would assume they're war-ready, by the looks of them. If you ever want or need help fine-tuning their foundations, let me know, I can train anything. That's my trade, actually, I train animals for whatever the client wants. I like to work them into the training, so they have that extra bond, so it's not like you'd be left out. I don't train them for sex, though, that's a no-no and I bring it up only because I've been asked before. And,
*she gestured to the two horses with the best breeding, her one hand that was on the horse resting on the door to the stall*
if you ever feel like breeding those two, I can do that, too. I found a good teacher so I know all the proper techniques for ensuring healthy babies and the like. Let me know if you ever find yourself interested
