Resplendent Fire 9,
*twisting through the air on a green dragon accented with leaves and moss rode a haltan woman, her green hair and tan skin token colors for her people. As they neared the city of Ramoth she grinned into the wind, only giving her eventual husband a fleeting thought. All things would be when they should be and until then she had a lot of business to attend to. First were the contractors for the arenas, fences and stables. All those buildings needed to be made before she could go and gather the animals she was going to start with. A few exotic ones would be nice, and she could charge a fee to see the more dangerous ones.. Of course she would offer her services to anyone who wanted for a fee, and then she'd be making some money to live on. Shifting her weight to let Ohina know she wanted to descend and the two of them landed gently just outside of the manse doors. Lifting the bags off of Ohina she patted her friend appreciatively*
Good thing you're a strong flier, thanks for carrying all this stuff, I'd never be able to do it on my own
*the dragon bowed its head to her in an amused response, mouth already full as it started pushing things down the halls. Following suit, the girl chuckled and started pushing her line of bags, picking up speed until she was in front of the dragon and kept going*

* Taro sat at a table in one of the many conference rooms in this perimeter manse, maps and papers laid out on the table before him, along with three large books all on the tactics and history of war. he rubbed an eye as he looked on at the overwhelming information on this exhaustive subject.... but as a new Exalt, he knew that the first thing he was to do was cram and see how much his exalted brain could take.
No matter though. he knew that in a few days, everything would make more sense... at least thats what all the other Dragon-blooded told him*

*opening the door to a room, she started pushing luggage through the entryway and began maneuvering it into the main space of this particular suite. Following closely was the draconian figure also toting luggage down the halls, though with much less effort than the Haltan girl. She was so intent on keeping her luggage going forward and not breaking away from the line that she didn't even notice that the suite she'd chosen was already occupied*

* Taro bolted upright when he heard the luggage being pushed through the door. When he saw the woman and the dragon, he got up and walked over to her*
" um.. hello. Are you my new wife? Can I help you with you belongings?"

*both the girl and the dragon looked up at him, though the latter seemed unsurprised, perhaps waiting for its companion to notice instead of saying something. The girl blinked and her confusion took over her features before it split into a grin and she chuckled some*
No, not that I know of...
*she stood up and brushed off her hands on her pants, offering one for a handshake*
I'm Le Soo Yi and this is Ohina. I wasn't paired with anyone yet, so I don't think we're engaged or anything. Honestly, I was just trying to put my things in my place and I thought this one would be nice... I guess you already live here, though
*she laughed a little, a bit embarrassed at her mistake*

* he then let go of her hand and pet the dragon on top of its head*

* He took her luggage in hand, giving a small lopsided smile to the woman as he hoisted the bags up*
" Well, now that you are here, you can stay if you like. This apartment is plenty large enough for both of us. I am used to sleeping in barracks, so you can hand the master bedroom if you like"

*Ohina huffed a bit at being petted, opening her mouth and letting out a sound that crackled softly like shuffling through leaves*
I share a room with her usually, so I won't be in the way

He had not noticed that Ohina did not like being petted, but had figured that this little elemental was sentient like many other elementals.
When he came back, he came to a realization and bowed to her*

* Taro waved off the notion, smirking slightly as he shook his head* " Nonsense! I am fine with the smaller room. I don't have many belongings and im used to sleeping in smaller quarters. "
* His smile widened and he nodded, looking between the dragon and the dragon-blooded*
" It is settled then. Is there anything I can do to help you two move in? It should be nice to have only two room mates, and not thirty."

No no, until I have somewhere to put my gear I'm just going to leave them packed up and in here. The rest are just some clothes and things like that. Actually, I was just going to go look for a site for where to put my facilities. You're welcome to join me if you're not busy, but I'm afraid it might not be very interesting
*Le Soo Yi brushed her hands off on her pants and started out into the hall, looking back to see if he followed*
If you change your mind and realize, "oh hey, I really wanted the bigger bedroom, this one sucks," just let me know and we can change. I won't be unpacked for a few days anyway. My work is never done so I might not have a lot of downtime right away. That all depends on how things unfold here. So you're a soldier or something like that, right? What do you do?
