*a large shadow flitted through the sky in the shape of a hawk, it's size considerably bigger than what someone might expect of the usual hawk specimen. In addition to the size abnormality there was also a harness and rider on this particular bird. The girl on top was pretty small, only about four foot ten inches when she stood up, and it seemed to suit the bird just fine. Landing on the manse above Ramoth the sprite hopped off, deftly loosening the harness and gently patting the bird's beak. She had short white hair that was rumpled from helmet wear and the pale bluish tinge to her skin was not because she was cold. Her grey eyes locked to her hawk companion's golden ones and she smiled*
Well, Hail, looks like we found ourselves a new home, at least for awhile
*she frowned a little, thinking about the things she was expected to adhere to. As long as the Empress held to her word and didn't make her marry anyone she didn't like then she could probably handle this new life. The prospect of being forced into that made her cringe, but she was told it didn't have to be immediate and that had put her at ease. So here she was, prey to the honeyed-tongue of her new Empress. At least she got a manse out of it. The thought made her chuckle, and with such things you need to put your face to the wind and fly right in*
