Sea-monster on the yellow river

* In the distance, a black jade clad captain ordered his crew to turn the ship in the direction of the manse off in the distance. He hopped down off the lookout, onto the deck below, causing his crew of westerners to scatter.

He looked around, giving a shrug to his crew as the ran off to hide*

" What?... don't worry so much... I told you. Things are different now."

* The crew slowly came out from their hiding places and went back to manning the ship.
The Captain looked out in the distance at the manse, seemingly floating atop the waves of the yellow river. The Dragon-Blooded captain smiled as he watched their destination become larger in the distance*

" Best place for a second chance is somewhere nobody from your past can follow you"

* He told the crew to drop sail once they were at the mouth of the manse, where he waited. Watching for any signs of a messenger.... these lands were now things of legend, and so the legend said, a messenger would come to greet a traveler*

* Appearing on the deck of the ship, scaring the still jumpy crew yet again, was Sentinel. He smiled at the retreating crew, before looking puzzled... this was never a reaction he had gotten before.

Deciding it would be best to speak in a softer, less imposing voice, Sentinel addressed the ship and its captain*

" Welcome travelers. I am Sentinel, the guardian spirit of these lands.

Welcome to The Mighty Empire, Impreveress! Why have you come here, strangers?"

* The Captain stepped up before Sentinel, then bowed to him* " Hello Sentinel. I have come to find a new life... As you can see, I am a Dragon-Blooded. I would like to obtain citizenship with this empire"

* Sentinel nodded, holding his hand out in the direction of the empire beyond the manse* " Very well. Continue on straight through the arch of this manse and all the way down untill you see a city. That is Bezair and there you can dock.

From there, continue on your treck, untill you see the sister city, east Bezair. There is a Manse there, and the keeper of those cities, Admiral Dal'Lumen, should send you in the direction of Emperor Ress... he is the one who will grant you citizenship... the rest of your crew may stay in either city*
