* As she entered the manse, lights lit a path to a platform directly across from the entrance. once stood upon, the platform would ascend upward through this manse and up into the manse above it, until coming to a stop. The platform stopped in what could only be the Manses hearthroom. This hearthroom looked like one of the few high first age war manses within Lookshy, complete with computer consoles, control panels and hovering graphs.

Sitting at the controls, was that same white haired Solar that had appeared in the skies of the Scavenger lands. He turned around in his chair as she entered the room. He leaned back into his chair, smiling at her.*

" Well hello! I have been expecting you. Welcome! I am Emperor Ress... you have come a long way, sit down if you like."

* As he spoke, a hole opened up in the floor and another chair raised up through it for her to sit in*

" Now then... tell me, what are you expecting here?... what demands might you have?... and what particulars do you have?... after all, this is the best time for negotiations"

::she was amazed by what she saw around her and a bit bewildered. She had ordered her second in command to come with her. When the man had turned his chair she had recognized him immediately. She was a bit stunned for a minute but then quickly regained her composure. She stepped forward a few more steps but decided to decline the chair::

I am Chozei Yushoto Scarlet Falling Leaves a good faith officer from Lookshy. This is my second in command Maheka Taro

::she motioned to the man standing behind her in complete awe. As soon as he heard her introduction he hastily stepped forward seeming somewhat nervous::

::Taro:: Yes i am Maheka Taro it is an honor to meet you
::as soon as he had finished but his blood awakened and a green aura surrounded him, he had just exalted into a wood aspect-ed dragon blooded::

::leaves stepped sideways away from him and looked at him a bit surprised::

*Ress stared dumbfounded at the two... but mostly at the glowing lieutenant who seethed with the newly awakened powers of a chosen of Sextes Jyiles. He smiled and gave a short and slightly nervous laugh, followed by a sigh*

" Well... two dragons at once?... I admit, I have never witnessed the Exaltation of a chosen of the dragons. Well... Hello Miss Scarlet.. Mister Taro... and congratulations on your new station of power! Now, let me rephrase my previous statements... What do the both of you expect from this empire independently and as a team? What are your demands and what is it you need from me? "

* Ress leaned forward, placing his bent elbow on his knee and resting his chin on his palm. He smiled to the both of them... obviously the kind of person who liked talking over business first, before exchanging further pleasantries*

" Lets hear your particulars, then I will tell you mine, then we can set up a deal that we all can be happy with"

::She was silent for a minute still amazed that Taro had just exalted and into a wood aspect no less. But she put that at the back of her mind to finish the business at hand. she had to think a bit, she felt she should be honest with this solar and she couldn't quite figure out why::

Well Emperor Ress I guess besides duing my duty to Lookshy as an officer I would like to stengthen my talon and my own skills.

::She paused:: I'm not sure exactly what else to say except that I hope we can get to know each other better.

::She had never had to really negotiate, just fight. Although she liked her opition being asked she just wasn't sure what it was::

::Taro. He had never seen Leaves just trust someone right off the bat. She ususally only trusted someone she had known well. He had been her second since she was posted and he knew that there had to be something special about the this ress for her to be so open::

::Taro:: As for me Emperor Ress I only wish to do my duty to Leaves

::leaves smiled a little at Taro then looked back to ress:: I would also like enough space for my Talon if I may. We will try to stay out of the way if you would like.

[Ress]

*Ress nodded, seeing this as perhaps the easiest negotiation he had ever been into with another exalt. He sighed, sitting back upright in his chair*

"I see. Well, I do believe I can accommodate your requests. But I have a few of my own. I allow all Dragon-blooded to join the empire, but higher positions of power may only be reached by marrying and ultimately having children with a Dragon-blooded of the same element. Of course, for every child you have, you will be compensated for, with bonuses for children that Exalt... furthermore, conception in a manse that corresponds with your element will also provide you with a bonus... with larger ones for carrying to term within the manses border."

* Ress heaved a sigh, giving them a nod once more, imagining how strange such requests might sound, but at the same time, holding fast to them.*

" As I am sure you can imagine, these are some pretty specific and restrictive rules... but I can assure you, they are all there for the good of The Empire and yourselves... after all, one of the greatest gifts the dragons have given you is their legacy. If that should disappear, it would surely mean the destruction of Creation. Now then... if these are all acceptable to you all, then I can start placing you in the Empire, and if you so choose, I can find you both a suitor."

* No matter how many times he did this, it did not make it any less awkward.*

::She stood there and patiently listened even though she was a bit confused. She didn't understand why it was so important but she kinda liked the idea of finally finding a husband since her mom had made it so hard for her to find one back in Lookshy::

We understand and accept your terms. ::She paused for a minute:: I also would like to accept your offer to help find me a husband

::taro looked at her knowing her mother had turned down any suiters because they weren't good enough::

* Ress nodded, then clapped his hands together and heaved a sigh*

" Ah! Very well. Now, unless you have anything else we need to cover or say, I will bring this meeting to a close. You will be stationed in the city of Ramoth, under the care of Saia. And you will have your choice of manse in the perimeter, just let Saia know which one... and if that is all, this has been a very productive meeting and I am anxious to hear what you do with your new position in this empire. I am very glad you both arrived"

* Ress stood up and bowed to them both, a small screen appeared before them, indicating where it was they were to go, then showing a diagram as to how to make the dragon boats take them there*

::She was amazed that this had been so easy. SHe already had a station and her choice of manse. She hadn't expected that. she thought they would stick her on the edge of a city somewhere where they would have to set up their own camp.::

::now she just need a bath, a nap and she would be good. But she knew she would have to get ehr men settled before she could get that done::

::She turned and made her way back to the beach where she had left her men. She gave the instructions to have the men return to the boats and how to set them to their new destination. Once on the boats they were on their way to the city Ramoth::
