[Scarlet Falling Leaves]

::As she approached the towering walls she rode her horse out in fornt of her talon as she survey the large open arch infornt of her and her men. She thought of her orders and smiled a little since she would be away from her mother for a while. She had heard much of this new empire as well as seeing Emperor's broadcast in the sky when the empire was officiated. She wondered what lay behind this towering walls but her orders were her orders, to go to Imperveress as a good faith officer as well as gather information about empire and its people. She looked back to her men, a caravan stretching off into the distance filled with wagons, horses and soldiers tired of the long journey. But they were finally getting close to the walls that they had seen for days. She tossed the little bit of scarlet leaved hair that had slipped of her shoulder back over her shoulder. The journey had be hard on the men since it was still hot and she was longing for a bath but soon she would be at her destination and this tiring journey would be over only for her orders to truely begin::

*when they arrived at the mouth of the manse entrance, a flash of light erupted from the archway, bright as the noonday sun. In place of the solar flare, a tall eastern looking man of noble baring appeared before them. His long black hair done into a top knot, then allowed to flow down his back. He wore a set of imperial robes, one might see on ageless murals on ancient buildings in Lookshy or Nexus. The corner of his mouth curling upwards into a small smile, but his green eyes told volumes about how he was happy to see visitors*

" Welcome to Imperveress, The Mighty Empire. I am Sentinel, I am here to greet you, and help you on your way... now then... who are you, strangers, and why do you come here?"

* If one was to look away from the radiant glowing being before them, they would see the large first age guns moving to the ready and aimed at the army that waited at the empire's entrance. After all, this was the age of sorrows... every army is a potential threat*

::Her men covered their eyes as the bright flash of light appeared before them but she did not knowing that if this was an attack she would need to be ready. She squinted her eyes so she wouldn't be completely blinded. As the light subsided she saw the man before her she took a ready posture but remained calm. She had thought that it was odd the arch was open and unguarded. She looked him top to bottom recognizing the robes. As he spoke she watched him carefully taking account to the guns now locked on her and her men. she took a deep breath and let it out and in a strong voice replied::

I am Chozei Yushoto Scarlet Falling Leaves. I am a good faith officer from Lookshy. ::She gestures behind her:: These are my soldiers who are also here on good faith

::She was hoping this wouldn't end badly she just wanted a bath and some rest::

We seek audience with the emperor to show our good faith.

::She hoped that was enough but she wasn't sure, she had never had to be a good faith officer before::

" Oh!" * Sentinel took a step back, letting the guns settle back into their hiding spits atop the manse. he squared his stance again and crossed his arms, nodding to the woman and her crew* " Oh yes, we have been expecting you. Please, come in! You may use the water way below us to speed you on your way to the Imperial manse in the center of this empire... Welcome again to Imperveress.. and please enjoy your stay"

* Just as he had appeared, the flash of light returned, absorbing him into the geomancy of the infrastructure of the Empire*

::She was a little surprised by his suddenly welcoming attitude and his now cheerful and helpful advice. Before she could ask or say anything me he was gone just as he had appeared. A little confused but too travel weary to question it further she took her horse forward through the arch and when nothing happened motioned for her men to follow in through the gate looking for this waterway he had spoken of::

* Below this defensive manse was yet another manse, which lead outwards into an area which could only be 'the waterway'. a city block sized room with a platform roughly the size of a tour bus, had it been laid on its side. Docked to the side of the platform, floating in glowing blue and green water, was a sturdy wood alloyed with magical materials, and a component that was unrecognizable, but probably not seen since the first age.

On the platform was a pedestal with a green jade tablet on it with words in old realm on the bottom and a full sized picture of a palm on it. if a hand were to be placed on it, another dragon boat would be summoned. Once boarded, the boats would lurch to motion, moving swiftly down the glowing river to parts unknown.

The boat turned a sharp left, though there was no inertia to toss the passengers around. The ship soon came to a stop at a sandy beach, leading up to a squat, yet grand manse made of a single huge piece of stone. The doors of the manse were wide open and inviting, as if it had been expecting visitors as well.*

::After they had boarded the amazingly strange boats, which had been some trouble getting all the horses, men and wagons on. She had left the coordinating to her second in command since she wanted to ride the first boat to make sure there was nothing suprising waiting for them ahead. When the boat fianlly stopped she set foot on the sandy beach staring at the huge manse. After a mintue she walked ahead and then ordered her men to follow. She helped get all ehr men off the boats and onto to beach before walking towards the manse doors. This had been quite the adventure and very strange journey as soon as she ahd reached imperveress's walls. She was seeing things she had only ever stories of back in Lookshy::
