Resplendent wood 11,
* Many Anhules poured out from the forrest and into the city of Ramoth. The green haired Haltan people quickly sprang into action, grabbing whatever they had and fought off the spiders, killing a hand full of them and driving off the rest... but something happened when two Anhule carcasses landed in eachother's bile... maybe it was the bleedinh hand from a nearby citizen... maybe it was another who vomited at the sight. Or perhaps it was the type of clay ground this carnage was occurring on.
Either way, the ground began to tremble and quake as the two anhules, blood and vomit all bubbled and turned green, giving off a putrid scent which wilted the nearby plants. The green liquid then hardened and turned to a gritty sand, which rose upward, shaping into a great stony head.
The turf around it transmuted in suit with the infernal material of the stony head. in a matter of seconds, the entirety of Ramoth was standing on top of the demon's 'body'.
the people of Ramoth, made brave by the recent visitation of the ruling Exalts, began stabbing the ground with sword and plough alike... but sadly, it only served to anger the creature. Geysers of green and azure light shot up from the ground, throwing out blue mist that turned everything it touched into stone which it commanded, including a score of unlucky townsmen. The bravery of the people of Remoth broke as they now began fleeing from the ground itself. More and more geysers popped out of the tainted soil, leaving no hope of defeating this 2nd circle demon.
Nobody actually saw where it came from, but the sound of a huge monstrous boar rang out through the city and miles beyond, causing all the towns people to stop in their tracks.. even if that meant being turned to stone.
full grown trees flew in all directions as a huge boar erupted from the forest. This beast had to be about eighty feet long and about half that at the shoulder. The Boar had thick black hair on its back, with razor sharp horns fanning backwards upon it. two tusks protruded from its bottom jaw and pointed outwards like warstrider lances, with smaller horns elsewhere on its face. on its neck though, were many long waiving tendrils, flailing and grabbing trees like mighty arms.
The giant head turned to the boar, a look of infernal glee crossed its face as it reared back and exhaled that strange blue green gas. The gas wafted at the boar.. but the boar sharply exhaled a heavy gust of wind, which dissipated the gas and reverted every person, home and piece of tainted ground its mighty breath had touched back into its true form, returning life to the once automaton.
no longer a part of the ground below, the creature cried out in pain and hoisted itself out of the ground. now standing at roughly thirty feet, the demon charged for the boar in a fit of infernal rage.
The Boar dragged its front right hoof against the once again fertile soil, before taking off at great speeds for the demon.
When they collided, the demon exploded into billions of tiny stones, sending him instantly back to the prison of Malfeas.
The people of Ramoth came out from hiding and began to circle around the giant boar, cheering and giving up prayers to their guardian. The Boar then reared back on its hind legs and gave a monstrous squeal, before fading away into nothingness.
Left behind in the geysers the demon had formed, were plots of rare medicinal herbs which normally could not live so far from the bordermarches of the wyld... but in the hole that the demon had crawled out of... there were spires of green jade growing like roots to a great magical tree*
