*The People of Ramoth awoke to the sounds of many horses running atop their roofs. Those brave enough to get out of bed and check saw heards of huge, spiders... all with furry lion's manes and a few carrying large man sized cocoons on their backs.
Many citizens of Ramoth thought these were agents of the Empress and painted red hourglasses on their doors as wards against these monsters*
