"I'm not sure, I couldn't even tell what was shooting at us from the back seat. Ah well, it must mean there's something someone is trying to hide up here."

*He walked over and sniffed at the cup in Arachnias hand.*

"hmm... Well! It smells like boots! *He looked up at the manse, with a look which distinctly said 'the wheels are turning'* That looks familiar, like a big telescope up there just like the smaller ones I've used when sailing. For charting a course with the stars... Star Charts! Maybe this is something boots used in the making of those star charts!

I wonder for what reason?" *He trailed off*

"If we are going to split up, we should divide the teams to capitalize on our separate strengths; one Lunar, and one Solar or Quar might be wise. Correct me if I am wrong, but with your powers over animal form, you must have the animals increased Senses to match, Right? Each team well have a Lunars increased senses to aid them. Sound good?"

*Once Dargo was on solid ground, and heard Lirimana request for assistance (with his excellent Hare hearing!) His shape swelled up from a little brown Hare. He looked like a giant obese sea urchin with brown quills. This hideous sphere then took on a doughy humanoid form which quickly morphed into the classic Dargo we all know and love.*

"I'll pair up with you Lirimana!"

That is true, yes. With that pairing idea in mind, and that Lirimana and Dargo have joined as a group that would leave the rest of us. Dal'Lumen, you should partner with Sayana and I will partner with Quar-Zagot

*Sayana and Quar were both like new Exalts, Sayana actually being one, and Arachnia wanted a more experienced with a less experienced person. This worked out well overall so far*

Who shall Tari accompany? We obviously need her to look around and see if we can awaken those memories. Perhaps she would be best suited to join my group as if there is an emergency Quar and I can both get safely to the ground with an extra person without much difficulty. Anything else we need to discuss?

*Lirimana grinned at Dargo and wanted to grab his cute bunny ears, but they were gone before she could. Sadness*

Sure, Arachnia, Tari should go with whatever group she's safest in. I think we're all fairly equal, so unless she has an objection to who she's being accompanied by then it sounds settled to me

*the Twilight looked over to the quiet girl and raised an inquisitive brow*

So, Tari, how about it? Do you have a preference with who you do or don't go with? Speak now or forever hold your peace

*Lirimana let out a short chuckle at her mild self-amusement*

*Quar waited as everyone used him as a bridge, and when they had all crossed, shifted back into his humanoid form, his back end still hanging off the edge... but with a pull and a summersault, Quar was placed safely upon the ground near the group.

Quar took a moment to dust off his clothing, before getting up to speed with everyone*

" I think Tari and I should be in a group together... this could get dangerous and Tari could need some extra help."

* Tari nodded, inching closer to Quar. She was simply human after all, and despite her husband being Dragon-Blooded, and dragons being in her family, he had no powers to protect herself.... not to mention being protected by Quar was almost like being protected by Pasiap*

" I think that would be a good idea... I don't want to slow anyone down, but I think I remember a little about this place now... I remember... dangerous wind?"

* Her face scrunched up as she thought about this*

"No.... fists.... or kicks? Chakrams.... I think. It was something..."

"It's Settled then! We have a lot of ground to cover, but if I were to venture a guess based on the scholarly look of this place It probably has a laboratory, or Library of some sort. I doubt the thee of you could be in too much danger, surrounded by books? Since there are three of you, you will probably be able to search faster!

*He paused and looked around, brow raised curiously, his eyes searched the vicinity.*

Someone should look around the area outside of the manse, and the courtyard, just in case someone is still out here. I find myself being very curious about that observatory looking thing so maybe ill check up there and if there's anything Sayana or I are uncertain about we will bring it to your attention. Then I say we all meet up back near the front door and if there is anything to search in that area, we can all do it together."

*He nodded to everyone, a grin cracking his face shortly after was the precursor to his departure.*

"I'll see you all soon! Let's go Sayana... *He jogged away rather suddenly, but slowed down enough to be cautious while opening the door.

He pushed the door open slowly, and waited for it to open fully before he peered inside, looking from left to right, half expecting something to jump out at him. He walked inside curiously, and waited for Sayana to catch up for just a moment before ascending to the observatory high above.


Once Inside the Observatory, Dal's strong detective instincts kicked in. He moved careful, trying not to disturb anything he didn't intend to. Moving from the doorway, and outward in sections he slowly, made his way around the large room, counting his steps as he did. It would be clear to any onlooker that the Zenith seemed to have a faint radiance that lit up the immediate area around him, the golden disk on his brow glittering in the dim light of this chamber of learning.

*He moved down to the Main hall to meet with the others and discuss what he has found in the observatory. While waiting, something caught his attention, leading to a full search of the main hall as well.*

He again, methodical moved from one part of the hall, to another, occasionally snapping his fingers and pointing at a spot on the ground, leading to a rather abrupt lurch off into another direction, a self satisfied smirk upon his lips, as he unfolded the next act of this unseen play.

*When he had seen all there was to be seen, he scratched his chin, crossed his arms, and leaned against the wall and waited for the others to meet him back in the main hall.

Let's check out the Library first

*Arachnia led the other two in her group to the building filled with books that was most obviously, the Library. At first she swept her gaze over the area, deciding the best course of action*

Alright, Quar and Tari, you check if there's anything in the library that might spark her memory. After this room I'm heading out to the courtyard. When you're done in here, come out to the courtyard and see if out there might cause a reaction

*with that, the Empress began to run her fingers along the walls and books, her eyes continuing to look through the rooms. She found that there had been five people perusing books and papers. She found herself looking in a basket filled with ashes. She looked through the minor scuffs to realize that there was an argument that involved a sixth person who was male. The others there were two women and three men, she could see that the books that had been under scrutiny consisted of two astrology, one history, four geography and five various political social science books*

Someone's planning a rebellion.... By the looks of it, they're targeting prosperous nations with few or no cultural ties. They've even gone so far as to research such nations that have no real problems.. There was a lot of effort put into this...

*Mostly she had been talking to herself, though it had ended up slipping through her lips and those thoughts had become more public*

*just as the group that had been here earlier this same day, Arachnia went out of the library and through the main hall into the courtyard. It looked as though one of the men, most likely the one who had the tussle in the library had been kicked through the doors and into the courtyard. It looked like a fight ensued and something burned the grass and the assailant while the man who was attacked ran from the man who had gone after him. The Empress bent down and pulled up the burnt parts of the grass and slipped it into a container. It also was found that there had been people trafficking through here for approximately two or three months. After gathering grass for testing, she turned to see if the others had followed behind her yet*

*Lirimana turned and started walking towards the perimeter so that the two of them could start, turning and gesturing to Dargo for him to follow*

*Sayana was secretly pleased that they had been paired together. She wasn't sure why, but she was starting to feel safer in Dal'Lumen's presence and that was somewhat comforting considering that none of them seemed completely sure what was going on*

*she somewhat over enthusiastically answered, hoping that he hadn't noticed. She followed as close to in his footsteps as she could and, noticing his caution, tried to move as fluidly and quietly as possible. At a sudden slight look of triumph on Dal'Lumen's face, she knew that he knew more than she and more than he was sharing, but she figured that she would hear it when the others returned*

*Dargo followed Lirimana*

"Yes, I am good at searching for hidden clues. Let me show you"

*Dargo got on all fours and grew hair all over his body. He snarled and grunted as his profile stretched out to that of a wolverine. The sound of his bones reducing to a smaller size sounded like...uh...bones reducing to a smaller size. Dargo was now a wolverine. His perception increased by two. He leaped forward and sniffed around.*

Hardly a few minutes after stopping to relax against the wall, Dal noticed something else he had hardly taken notice to before. He had discarded it as tracks left behind by the others in his group that had come inside to investigate, but mingled within them, was evidence that the others had already made their way outside while Dal had most likley been in a far corner of the Great Hall, out of ear and eye shot of the doorway.

"Sayana, I think we just missed the others, I'll bet they are waiting outside, in the courtyard. It looks to be in our good fortune that nobody yet has experienced trouble."

Dal'Lumen pushed himself up off the wall, and pushed through the door into the courtyard where Arachnia, Quar-Zagot, and Tari were standing in their tinity, and seemed to be talking while they waited for everyone else. He started to speak as he walked up...

"Hey, looks like you all made it, I found these up stairs - *He held up the handfull of paper that made up his Star Charts.* And several other trails of evidence, did you guys have any luck?

*Lirimana and Dargo wandered through the perimeter of the island and she noted that there was a fight that had gone on between three people. Two men were the original combatants and then a third, who was female, entered and seemed to ambush the guy attacking and then the one defending and the woman jumped off the side of the island having kicked the assailant to the side. When they came around to the other side of the island they realized that there had been four other people, two men and two women. Kneeling down, Lirimana checked the prints left behind and found that they had stood there for some time, maybe discussing something, and then they simply disappeared. She could find nothing to indicate that they had walked or jumped from that spot. A glint caught her eye and she picked up a single strand of gold hair*

What do you think, Dargo, does this look familiar? Maybe we should compare the scent to the hair that Arachnia has. Here, take a sniff

*Lirimana extended the hair out to the wolverine's nose for him to sniff*

Did you get a chance to smell the hair Arachnia has that looks like this? It not we should ask her for a comparison, let's head back

Dal'Lumen looked around to a sound he heard on the other side of the courtyard, Lirimana and Dargo had finished their search of the Perimeter and returned just in time.

"Ah, Lirimana, Dargo, Im anxious to hear what you have found as well!"

*He smirked and crouched on the steps that lead up to the manse, relaxing his arms upon his knees.*

"I'll mention the fact that in the Observatory, it seems that it has been quite a popular place recently, lots of activity up there. It also seems that someone has been researching star charts and constellations, evidence points to the constellations of travel and secrets as being the most recently looked at.

*A fierce grin stretched his face.*

They also looked up constellations for Calibration - And with my star charts here as a result... I think it's safe to say someone has been going through a lot of trouble to research this little group of Exalted men and women."

*Dal tilted his head back and looked thoughtfully into the sky.*

"As for my investigation of the large hall through these doors behind me, It seems a fight broke out, looks like someone got mad at a one armed man... Feelings were hurt, evidence was thrown, and by the looks of things out here, the fight didn't end when old Mr. one arm was kicked out the door."

*His head dropped lazily back down, his serene gray eyes boring into each of the others with a secret hunger for more clues.*

"So... What did you find in the library, any papers?"
