Yes, I'm afraid that Lunar Essences were infected with the Wyld at some point in our history. Our Moonsilver tattoos were crafted so that the Wyld inside of us wouldn't take over our minds and bodies
*she fell silent for the duration of Quar's work on Dargo, but started up again a few moments later when he was finished*
As for Dargo, I'm not sure of the extent of his Wyld taint since we only just met him. He has a great desire to change shapes as his mood suits it, will what you just did only create a better defense against the mutations or will it serve as a block for the week you mentioned? I'm afraid that Spirit abilities are not my expertise...
*if this ability allowed for a semi-permanent but fully-effective block against Wyld taint then this was an extremely useful fact that she would be sure to exploit. The tattoos that they used were very effective, if painful, tools but they created a permanent mark on the body that Lunars usually had to adapt to hide. If they could find a way of using a Charm or other magics to keep the Wyld at bay... Well, she was getting ahead of herself. This ability wasn't even confirmed to be as effective as she was hoping. If it was, however, she would find a way to make it available to Lunars and could create something every Lunar outside this empire would want*

*the whole tattoo thing made a little more sense now. Information on their tattoos weren't in anything she had read about Lunars from the First Age, so what she could find now wasn't helpful. There were Solar Charms that could banish the Wyld... what would happen if they used it on an untattooed Lunar? Would it take any mutations away? Would that even be safe? Maybe when she had the school and the hospital running in Kideshen she would look into something like that. But first they had to prove that Ress was innocent and get his sexy behind out of jail. It seemed like the bow that Arachnia has will serve them well in court since that blows one of the big pieces of evidence for the accusation out of the water. After all, how can it be his weapon if they were processed wheat? It can't, of course. Did Ress have an evil twin brother with a bow bearing the opposite side of Reign of Ress's power? That was probably rather far-fetched, but hey, it could happen... Maybe... Probably not...*

" Permanent? no, I am afraid not. All I can do is quiet the Wyld for a time, giving beings resistance to its warping energies... apart from that, im no Imperial Mountian.
I have heard stories that this ability lets others resist the wyld better... but I have never used it on an untatooed Lunar before... I am still not fully certian what the full capabilities are just yet."

Dal grinned at Quar, looked over at Dargo, then back to Quar. No doubt this would keep Dargo quiet about his tattoos for a time, or in the least test the boys usefulness in days ahead.
*Dal'Lumen clapped Quar on the back, soon realizing he might as well have just slapped a rock. He chuckled and gave Quar a Jostle.*
"You're just full of surprises aren't you my friend? Thank you for all your help today Quar, with Towering Oak AWAL we have have lost a set of hands, we could have been set back in our plans if you had not risen to the challenge!"
*He turned to Dargo.*
" We have a few people to look for, but lets start with the woman. A few days ago, witnesses noticed that a clump of golden flowing 'something' was seen clinging to Quar-Zagot's dragon scales during the day of the attack. This 'something' looked like wheat, but was later discovered to be hair, belonging to a woman. To Lirimanas description, she is a fairly tall woman, 5'8" about as tall as Lirimana, slender, sporting long blond hair and is thought to be somewhere in Beziar... The city I have been staying in. We have a hair sample if you need to 'catch her scent' or something?"
*Dal shrugged, a thin smirk slid down the length of his mouth. His Gray eyes shot up to Sayana abruptly, giving her the once over... assessing her potential.*
" I would like to hear a bit about you too Sayana, tell us about yourself, maybe we can find some way for you to help too. What sort of things are you good at that you think could be useful."
*He smiled warmly, a smile that gently invited her to join the conversation."

*Having been very absorbed in the conversation that was taking place around her, she was rather shocked to be suddenly put on the spot and gave a small start*
Oh, um, I'm not sure of what use I can be at this time, but I had been training as a nurse before...well, let's just say in another life. I do hope that I can be of some use...
*she trailed off, giving Dal'Lumen an eager look, hoping that she could soon do something to try and repay the kindness that had been being shown her thus far*

"Well, I'm not sure if those skills are something we have immediate need for, fortunately. There may be some wounded back in Beziar, I'm pretty sure I saw the people I protect taking in the wounded sailors, so unless Arachnia has something else for you, maybe you could go see about helping them.
*He shifted his weight to his other leg.*
"Don't be discouraged though, I'm sure you will find some way to contribute your talents to our cause. There is a lot of work to be done rebuilding these lands, every set of hands helps."
*Dal Glanced over at Arachnia curiously.*
"Do you think it would be wise to go investigate the manse high above us, perhaps there are more clues to answer why Tari was up there."

*Arachnia didn't want to send a new Lunar loose into the Empire, mostly because she wanted to make sure the girl was safe, but also because she couldn't monitor her as easily if they weren't together. There had to be more to this girl than she was letting on. Medicine does not a Lunar make...*

Arachnia must be a very conflicted individual... there are so many ways she tries to get things done...Albeit, a lot of the time she was successful, but she just hoped that one day that flirtatious nature of hers didn't get her into too much trouble. All it took was that one random thought and the Twilight's face lit up and she looked directly at Sayana*
Hey, can you make anything? Or are you awesome at finding stuff?

Well...I have always been rather quick to pick up on things and I'm good at working with my hands. If you have any busy work to do or any problem solving I'm game to try anything that you throw at me. I am also relatively good at not being seen when I don't want to, which can be useful for getting information, but other than that I can't think of a specific way to help.
*she looked hopefully from face to face of the others, willing there to be something that she could contribute*

I find that those skills are more useful than most know
*Arachnia offered a comforting smile to the new girl. She found herself wondering what it was that was causing her to go soft, since most of her life had been only for herself. Was it the entrance of love in her life? Ress had changed a lot of things for her for sure, though she had found adapting to his sweet words and soft touch to be easier than liking and extending herself to the others. Maybe it was her wonderful little secret that was the cause of it all... Either way, it made her question the reactions she was getting from her altered approaches*
I'm perfectly sure that it's possible to find you something useful to do, though it might only be when the situation occurs. How does that sound?

I'm sorry, yes, I believe that we should go up to that Manse. If there was some sort of safety for Tari up there then there could be clues if we arrive fast enough

Since the Warbird seats only two people we need to find out a seating arrangement. As Lunars we can shift into something smaller and accompany you in those forms, but that still leaves Dal'Lumen, Lirimana and Tari. If Quar would like to go as well, then that brings another person into the equation. Can you shift to a smaller form, Quar?
