Resplendent Wood 3,
*Arachnia glanced over the Warstrider that Roaring Wave was in, sad to see the extent of the damage that was taken. This was going to take some repair work. Later tonight when most, if not all, of the group work was done she would load that Warstrider into her manse and get the servitors working on repairing it. When they arrived at the Armory the Empress raised a brow as she watched the Dragon Blooded run into the docking bay and jump out. If his knees were bleeding, why did he run? She was still relatively new to the fields of medicine, but that didn't seem like a very good idea. Arachnia walked Trell back to her dock and disengaged, the hatch opening*
Until next time, then, my dear?
*she offered the A.I. a smile and closed the hatch on her way out*

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Lirimana followed Arachnia and Roaring Wave into the Armory and went to her own section. She was going to be sad to not see Ratch for awhile, but who knew how long until he was needed next? She waved goodbye, wishing she could hug him, and got out as the hatch opened up*
Hey, I'll see you soon, I hope. Bye cutie!
*closing him up again, the Twilight put a hand on the hull before turning and looking at Roaring Wave. What was with all of the unavailable hot people in this empire?? It seemed like every good-looking person was taken or uninterested, even Towering Oak didn't ever give her a secret glance. Agh. Walking over to the wounded man she knelt down and put her hand to his forehead*
Hello, you must be Roaring Wave. I'm Lirimana
*she watched his breathing for a full minute to gauge its rhythm and touched each joint lightly as she gave him a diagnostic sweep. She shook her head at him, an admonishing look coming over her face*
You've done quite a number on yourself.. It looks like you broke both arms and both legs as well as a rib on each side of your body. I want to get you into a bed, or at least on a softer horizontal surface than the ground
*Lirimana looked to Arachnia and took in a breath, letting it out slowly before opening her mouth to speak*
Arachnia, I don't want to move him too much and I would prefer him in a safer place than the wide-open environment of the Armory. Can I put him in one of your spare rooms in your Manse?....
*Lirimana's brown eyes watched the Empress's black stare for any sign of danger, hoping that she could play on any kindness that inhabited the Spider Queen's heart. From the uncommon display that happened today, Lirimana didn't want to burn her out and risk damaging any future appearances of that caring, but it was what was best for her patient, and she couldn't forgive herself for not doing her utmost*

Having propped himself lazily with his back against a wall in Arachnias Manse, Dal'Lumen waited for the others to leave before making his own way out. With a forward lurch, he stood back up and took a slow striding path back to Bines dock.
When he felt the Warstriders body disconnect from his he turned to watch the hatch open itself to release him. He grinned and spoke as he walked.
"Well Bine, It was an honor - I'll continue training myself until next time. I foresee many more times we shall fight together in the future."
Ducking out of the metal hatch at bines back, Dal meandered over to the others and once again, assumed the same position he had in the manse. His head and back pressed against the cold surface of a near by wall. He watched Roaring wave and Lirimana from the corners of his eyes with an aimless grin on his face. He remembered someone once telling him that you don't truly know someone until you have seen the way they fight... Perhaps it was true to a level. Every blade brought down, was as true and simple an act as a lighting strike, it was primal, and even if it did not hit its target, it did not lie about it's intent.
There was of course, so much more to life than fighting...
"Good job out there everyone. We saved a lot of lives today, but we lost more than we should have... I would like nothing more than to have a face to face chat with whoever unleashed that thing." *He said grudgingly. He spat at the ground and turned his head away from the others.*
Dal having spent his life around people that would never understand remorse, or be able to empathize with people they had never met. He had learned to put on a tough face when these sort of things came up. He couldn't show weakness to anyone back in the old days, it was ingrained in him from childhood.

Resplendent Wood 3,
*looking over at Lirimana, Arachnia's eyes immediately narrowed as she met the Twilight's gaze. She took a glance over at Roaring Wave and sighed inside of herself. If he was that bad off then he wouldn't be running around her manse. Just to be safe, though, she intended to have Zeriku monitor his every move until he had vacated her home. That Dragon-Blooded should consider himself extremely lucky to be allowed in there, although it seemed as though her privacy was constantly being invaded because of the swift nature of her manse's transportation ability*
I suppose that he may stay in one of my rooms. Zeriku will be available if you need anything, and you can contact any of us through her
*Arachnia walked forward as smoothly as glass, her hips swaying gently as she did so. Kneeling down, she picked him up where Lirimana pointed out was safe and started walking in tandem with the other spider, doing her best to give him a smooth ride so as to not further damage him. As soon as they were in the room Roaring Wave would recover in, Arachnia wished that she had an extra arm in this form. Instead she had her Black Widow Razors pull back the bedding so that they could place him underneath. Once he was comfortable, she left the rest to Lirimana, taking to the corner as her automata climbed up and onto her shoulders. It was from here that she watched the Solar work*

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Lirimana lifted Roaring Wave's lower body with care and kept up into the Manse and then the room. As soon as their new friend was settled she got to work. She started by removing his clothing and cleaning off his wounded areas with the cloth she kept on her person and the water from her personal flask. From there she gently worked essence into the Dragon-Blooded's wounds over the next hour, humming a soothing song to herself. When she was done she put the bedding over his form and stood up*
There, you should be good as new by the end of today. I recommend that you stay in bed and relax for the time being. Maybe take a nap, I'll get some water for you in case you get thirsty and some food for you to eat. You can eat and drink despite those wounds, but you should be better than ever later tonight, 'kay?
*she smiled at him and looked over to see that Arachnia had gathered some food and water while she had been working. Placing it on the table next to the bed, her grin grew broader at the secret kindness of some people*

Resplendent wood, 3 "We did well indeed, mister Dal'Lumen... I know I am proud."
* Roaring Wave did not protest to being picked up or carried into a bed... especially one as comfortable as this one. He winced in pain as Lirimana patched him up, those broken bones causing much pain. It did not take long for him to feel the effects of the medical care. he nodded as he took in the orders to stay in bed*
" Alright, I will stay here... but please tell Tari that I am safe... she has always been afraid of Warstriders... she saw them in a parade on The Blessed Isle once as a child."

Trailing behind a bit, he followed the others only to the first chamber he had been in with the Warstriders. Looking at Waves broken body was almost unbearable to Dal'Lumen, every wince of pain on the face of the dragon blooded man shot through Dal like a shot of hot light, the trail of his exalted blood across the manse floor told a tale like footsteps in the sand.
*He stood there helplessly, arms crossed, and painful look on his face as the others disappeared into the room.*
"I'll just... wait here..." His voice trailed off.
*He drifted over to another wall to rest against and waited for Arachnia and Lirimana to come back out.*

Resplendent Wood 3,
*At some point during Lirimana's hour Dal'Lumen would see Arachnia leave and return a few minutes later with a glass of water and a plate with various easy-to-eat foods for Roaring Wave. When Lirimana was finished with her instructions, Arachnia nodded to the patient*
That was where we were headed, actually. She's much too far up for a normal mortal, I want to know how and why she's above the Imperial Manse
*her gaze flickered up so that the others would know that she wasn't talking to them*
Zeriku, since we are all in the manse, please bring us over to the Imperial Manse
*a soft female voice rang out in the room that the group was in*
Yes, Arachnia. As a note, there is an essence-user on the roof of this Manse. Shall I show them in?
An essence-user? What sort?
*the corner of her mouth twitched at the further intrusion. No one seemed to be able to do their job and either keep out unwanted guests or report the ones that slipped by. Once again she found herself wondering why they even bothered having a defense system*
A Lunar; new by the looks of them
*the Empress let out a very small sigh*
Alright, show them in
As you wish

Resplendent Wood 3,
*in the spot on the roof next to the foreign red-tailed hawk a woman appeared. She was completely silver and semi-translucent, her hair falling to mid-back and a hand on one hip. She was wearing a Chinese-style dress with high slit on both sides revealing her long and elegant legs with slipper-covered feet. When she spoke, her voice was soft and held mellow tones, her face seeming to sit in a perpetual secretly-attentive expression*
Hello, Lunar. Are you looking for a safe place where you can do the work of the Moon?

Resplendent Wood 3,
*The red-tailed hawk swirled around and gave the woman a blank neutral leer. It then fluffed up all its feathers and begun to morph into a man sitting where the bird was perched. His head was down, platinum-brownish hair covering his face. He held up his head slowly to reveal his yellow eyes.*
"Yes, do you know of such a place?"

Resplendent Wood 3,
*the woman's expression didn't change, nor did her tone of voice, as she looked at the brooding man*
You're sitting in one. This empire now called Imperveress is a haven to all those who wish for a safe place where they can be productive for the earth. If you climb down and go inside there are other Exalts who can work with you, Moon-Child. This Manse will be leaving soon, in the next few minutes, actually
*an arm moved outward and she gestured with her hand towards the ground*
I will meet you inside
*as soon as she spoke, her form dissolved into the air as a haze of silver light*

Secretly Dal'Lumen agonized over the seseless violence unleashed on those people in Beziar... To top it off, seeing Roaring Wave all torn up like he was left Dal squirming in his skin. He had seen more than enough human suffering in his previous life.
Hearing some comotion in the room the others were in, and listening to the voice of Zeriku gently whisp through the room. Dal stopped his nervous fidgeting out in the hall, and walked in to see the others.
He crept round the edge of the doorframe and peered in, cringing a bit as his gaze searched the room and fell upon Roaring Waves form.
"I see you're milking it! No doubt for the attention of beautiful women, and free food! Aye tough guy? ... And what's this I hear about a Lunar?"

* Wave winced a bit as he wolfed down his food... getting the crap beaten out of you really works up a hunger. he thought about getting out of the bed to talk to Dal... but his bandaged arms and legs would undoubtably get very angry at him... not to mention Arachnia and Lirimana.
Instead, he looked up at the bald zenith and grinned*
" You caught me. That was my plan form the start... to requisition a warstrider to fight that squid, then get injured by it... just a ploy to get some female attention.... because I don't have a wife or anything."

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Arachnia let out a semi-amused chuckle, not taking offense from his teasing as it was just that: teasing. Were he serious on the other hand... Well, that simply wasn't how it was. Using a single finger she tucked a lock of midnight black hair behind her ear and looked over at Dal'Lumen*
It would appear that we have yet another unnoticed intruder, this time it would seem is a Lunar. Zeriku has gone to the roof to invite them in. You are welcome to come inside the room, you know. Roaring Wave is finished being bandaged
*she could see the pain in the Zenith's eye, though she decided not to comment on it. This was a painful time for all it would seem.. Of course that never stopped Lirimana from attempting to find a bed-mate, or even a night-mate, for that matter*

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Lirimana laughed a little at that, too bad he was only joking. Her gaze grew soft for a moment as she thought about her situation for a moment. It was a little tiring to be chasing after attractive men and woman all the time, mostly because she was unsuccessful, but also because short-term just wasn't what she wanted anymore. Forcing a smile back on her face, the Twilight made sure that Roaring Wave was eating without too much difficulty, but he would be better if he'd just slow down*
Hey, you, not so fast, you'll hurt yourself even more if you're not careful
*if he were a mortal that would be true. In all honesty she just didn't want him in more pain than was necessary. His ribs would reset on their own over the course of the day even if she let him eat the way he did, but it was safer this way. He was probably exhausted underneath all of the hunger, and she had a feeling it was going to hit him once they left and he settled in*
