Dal'Lumen nodded slightly, and then resumed walking down the hall, aimed for the left most hall where he could unload Quie. Wide eyed as he walked through the enormous pearl halls and archways, He had never seen such a luxurious dwelling having grown up in hovels, ship cabins, Guild provided apartments, and a wagon more recently.

Dal turned the corner to the left and walked a bit further down the corridor he could smell the fragrance's from the bathroom up ahead, and had to fight back a sneeze from their overwhelming strength. Dal wondered up to the Spare room, peering through the doorway half expecting to be assailed by some sort of trap, cautiously he strode into the room and over to the bed where he practically threw Quie-Ra down.

" Nice place... Don't think this gets you off on answering my questions!" Dal chuckled as he walked out of the room still quite elated about getting to stay in such a place for a night.

Dal Walked back around the corner a moment later and then headed towards the central hall in the direction of the control room. Which he shortly arrived within glancing around at all the brightly colored Christal, and the ornate black jade dragon spilling its bounty of cool clear water into the silvery dish the contents of which glittered with blue light cast by Sentinels luminosity.

"O.K, So what do I need to do my friend?"

From under the water Dal saw something that looked out of place, he walked over and gazed into the dish.

"what do we have here?"

"What do you do? It is very simple actually... this may take some time, but don't worry, its not hard.

You need to reach a meditative state and expand your anima all through the hearthroom... then hold it there as the essence of the Manse pours through it. When it is all done, you will be attuned and will have access to all the powers of it... What did you find?"

*He looked down into the dish to find that same egg sized crystal in the dish*

" Oh!.. the one obvious place I never looked... The Manses' hearthstone. You will have access to the stone's powers as well once you are attuned... but after this... get some sleep, Zenith"

Leaning over the dish, he dipped his hand into the cool water and put his fingers around the little stone, and pulled it up bringing it closer to get a better look. *"wonder what this will do"*.

His eyes blinked back up to Sentinel, and he smiled warmly.

"Meditative state huh? I think I can manage to do that!"

Dal rubbed his eyes wearily and nodded in concurrence to the suggestion of getting some rest. Dal'Lumen looked from side to side of his feet and took a step or two to the center himself in the room, and then lazily plopped to the ground and made himself comfortable where he sat.

The gentle colored lights emitted bye Sentinel, and the control console flickered and danced on the inside of his eyelids after they had closed. The sound of the water running down into the little dish from the jade dragons mouth soothed his tired mind, but allowed him to reach a heightened state of focus, he imagined the room around him, the rest of the manse beyond it, and expanded his consciousness out to touch it and fill the room with his own energy. The still cold, wet hearthstone clutched in one of his hands.

* Sentinel was silent for the four hours that this ritual took, smiling and taking a mental state similar unto Dal's... but half way through, he looked off to the northwest, with an almost alarmed expression on his face... but he soon calmed himself.. waiting for the Zenith to finish with his attunement.

When Dal was done, he would feel like his spiritual reserves had been bolstered, but the rest of him had been drained. fatugue from both the fight and from the ritual had caught up with him.*


" Well done, Zenith. Now that you are done, feel free to retire in the main sleeping quarters... and when you arise, there are some... slightly pressing matters to attend to."

Having dismissed himself cordially upon wobbly legs, from the control room after his session with Sentinel, Dal took a moment to satiate his Exalted appetite in the kitchen as he had promised his stomach earlier. Shortly after which he proceeded to cannon ball into the bath to soak his wounds and clean filth that had been with him for a month from his body.

Finally Dal staggered his way up to the main quarters and crashed into the bed where after a long hard week of sleeping on the ground, he would sleep very well for a change, though as always he was tormented by his past. Dal'Lumens sleep was usualy a battle of its own.
