*a dark figure flew through the air, what looked like a huge bird, and it had a long protrusion standing tall on its back that would lay flat and then rise up again. As the enormous hawk banked, the protrusion was easier seen to be the small, thin girl that it was. She held tight to the feathers and laughed as she performed dangerous stunts like the handstands from before.
The bird screamed loud and joyous as they sped like maniacs through the air, pushing the limits of safety for the rider. The girl leaned down and flattened herself against the bird's back, and they rocketed faster and faster until the bird closed its wings and they plummeted fiercely to the earth, wings opening just in the nick of time to keep them from slamming into the ground. Suddenly they spun upwards and the hawk's powerful wings pumped them easily into the sky, lost against the bright circle that is the sun*
