* Unannounced, Reed bounded through the manse, leaping from ground, to wall, to ceiling and off any furniture that might have gotten in his way.

Behind him, his little mutant piglet friend followed as quick as its little hooves could carry him, making little grunting noises every so often.

Over Reed's shoulder was his favorite travel sack, this time filled to the brim, weighing down the rambunctious child, but that only made him work twice as hard to go just as far with every stride*

" Lirimana! Lirimana!! I have something! Come see what I brought! I have never seen anything like this in my life!!"

*This time Lirimana would be found in the manse's gym, sweating from a long workout, her golden spear gleaming in the light filtering through the windows, a blindfold on her face. She had been trying to invent some sort of new move, but the length of her spear and only one small pointy end made a death stroke in that move rather difficult. The crimson-stained chain whipped around and changed between friend and foe as she needed, creating the ever-dangerous close-combat enemy for a spear-wielder. Reed's rushing in and yelling about got her to stop abruptly, poised in a strange butterfly-like overextension before she slowly pulled herself back into a regular standing position, the other foot touching the ground and her free hand pulling off the blindfold. As she walked into the hall she spotted the little Haltan child bounding off her walls*

Wow, you have a lot of stuff! What kind of fun things do you have in there?

*she knew this kid was so grown up, and that confused her even more. She was supposedly good with them, but she by no means understood them. Caress Of Words' face flashed through her mind with that look and she narrowed her eyes at it to make it go away. She hoped she sounded sincere and that Reed wouldn't notice she wasn't appropriate for guests. Would he even care?*

* Reed jumped up and down in front of Lirimana, very excited over what he now had in the sack over his shoulder. His little piglet friend close at his heels, now in a sitting position.*

" I found something out near the perimeter manse!! I am not sure what it is, but it glows!"

* Reed heaved the sack off his shoulder, then dumped the contents on the floor.

What poured out what nothing short of surprising. broken fragments of magical materials strewn themselves across the floor. Jade, Orichalcum, Moonsilver, Soulsteel and Starmetal in seemingly random sized hunks*

" and look what happens when I do this!"

* Reed waved his hand over the pile, causing the materials to glow multicolored as it passed, but just as quickly, they went back to inert hunks when he was done*

" What do you think they are?"

*Lirimana looked over the hunks of magical materials, rearranging them in different ways and running her hands over top of them, testing a variety of different things. After about fifteen minutes of this she nodded, a collection of pieces now in the shapes of broken items lay in front of her*

So, it looks like this is a Moonsilver chalice and this is an Orichalcum dagger, this is a Soulsteel signet ring, and here we have a green jade walking stick. Last but not least is this starmetal feather

*she gestured to each item as she spoke of it, though just with the coloring and shape it was pretty obvious what she was talking about*

These are some pretty interesting items, Reed, though it looks like only you can make them all glow, I only got the Orichalcum to respond

* Reed jumped up and down some more as Lirimana looked over the magical trinkets, every so often, jumping up into the air and hanging by his toes from whatever he could while he waited*

"wow! That is good right? Solars use Orichalcum, right? What do they do?.... and why do they glow?"

* Like any ten year old kid, Reed liked to ask ' why' a lot. He looked especially strange hanging upside-down like this while he asked*

*the Twilight laughed a little at him, wondering if all kids had so much energy*

Well, they're all artifacts, but if they do something individually I'm not sure. As for why they glow, I really don't know just yet. They are, however, a pretty good forgery for a set of graces. The only problem is that we seem to be missing one, the Heart. This Starmetal feather is a part of whatever these things power, but there's that one missing piece. Did you happen to see anything else that might have been connected to these?

" A heart? No, I don't think so... Whats a grace?.... whats a forgery too?"

* Reed let go of the ceiling with his feet, flipping back around so he landed right side up* he looked over the broken treasures one more time, then back to Lirimana*

" These were the only things Ghronder and I could find... but Ghronder is good at tracking with his nose! Do you think that this heart thing smells like the others?"

* The little piglet let out a snort when his name was spoke, getting back up to his feet as they spoke*

Sorry, a forgery means that someone copied something and the forgery is the copy. It's a fake, basically. A Heart is a grace from a Fair Folk and a grace is a piece of a Fair Folk's soul. So the piece we're looking for is something probably heart-shaped and I don't see why it wouldn't smell like the others. Do the others smell like each other?

*Lirimana looked down at Reed, trying to give him a better angle, so she knelt so they could look at each other better*

* Reed looked down at his little piggy friend, who gave a snort, causing Reed to giggle, then turn to Lirimana*

" Yes! They all smell similar. He says he can already smell the missing one! It is to the north west... should we go get it now?"

* Reed began jumping up and down once more, getting very excited to be going back to adventuring*

Sure, we might as well go now. Give me a second to go grab my weapon and pack and I'll be right back

*Lirimana stood up and jogged to her room to grab her things. In a couple of minutes she was back with Reed and Ghrondir, ready to go*
