*Lirimana smiled to Ress, about to bow in return when he took her by the hand and practically pushed her down the hallway and onto the platform. She was starting to wonder who had died or if something with the Demon Ligier had come up. If the former was the case, it could be dealt with easily, no need for hysterics. If it truly was Ligier, then Ress's urgency was understandable, for sure. At the sound of the owl's call she looked up and raised an eyebrow* Ress? Shall we let the owl on? *The possibility of it being Arachnia seemed high, since most wild owls don't hitch a ride on elevators. At least none that she knew.. She let go of Ress's hand to keep the platform from going up and hoping that Arachnia didn't notice, it wasn't exactly entertaining to stay quiet through the Lunar's threats, especially if she decided to make good on that last one...*

MMM!!.... * he looked side to side, wondering if this truely was Arachnia... then figuring it was better to be safe than sorry, he stopped the platform* Yes! * He stopped long enough for the owl to climb abord the platform, then told the platform to float upwards, through the many floors and to the control room. When the platform came to a stop and the door opened, he ran off to the control plael and began pressing buttons and issuing commands... untill the large map of Imperveress narrowed down into a zoom in of the Armory. Ress then began to slow himself down.. taking deep breaths as he calmed down... he then slowly turnned around*... I suppose you are all wondering why it is that I called you here.... well, you are entitled to an answer.. and a good one at that..... it so seems there is a prisioner upon our lands who is in dire need of being let free.........

*Arachnia floated onto the platform and landed on Ress's shoulder, doing her best to keep her talons from piercing his clothes. As soon as they were in the control room she leapt off and landed on the nearest seat, her body starting to shift and change until she was a woman again, her black locks flowing around her breasts and onto her abdomen as she sat down and listened to Ress. This was an important time for him, being an Emperor, since he now had to speak to his equals instead of ignorant mortal followers. Crossing one leg over the other, she turned halfway, her arm draping on the back of the seat, looking relaxed despite the urgency that Ress brought to the room. It wouldn't do to add to the tension, especially since she already knew what was going on. The Spider Queen's gaze fell on each of the Solars to watch their reactions, particularly the Twilight. It would be good to know what she feared...*

A prisoner?? What kind of prisoner? Where are they being held captive and what for? Do you know what kind of containment they're in, for example, a cell or a pit? *Lirimana's brow furrowed as she thought of the many different ways a person could be held hostage* Another question I have is: are they supernaturally inclined or simply mortal? All important things to know so we can deduce what plan of action to take *Lirimana nodded at this, hoping she didn't overwhelm the young Emperor with all of her inquiries. She had a lot more to ask, too, though the other questions weren't quite as important to get out as the first ones. She had remained standing, aware of the Lunar's gaze on her. She wondered for a moment if Arachnia really had noticed the hand holding with Ress*

* Ress' gaze fell upon Lirimana and stayed there for a few moments, before he returned to addressing the whole room* He is held within the building here, known as the Armory * Without looking, ress pointed to the large rendering of the armory upon the control screen* I don't know what is holding it captive, or how exactly... but it seems whatever it is holding my ancient friend... he is doing so by controling him like a puppet. Now... though much thought and deligation, it seems the only course of action is to storm the armory. Now... if anyone has any suggestions or fears, you may take the floor now.... but keep in mind... I would do the same for each and every one of you...... * slowly, Ress stepped back to allow anyone who had something to say, to have the floor*

*Arachnia smirked at Ress's comment, appreciating the deviousness of such an ending statement* You know what I think, Ress. As much as I would like it not to be, I still think that there is a possibility that it is a trap. Either way, we shouldn't storm the place that holds untold numbers of First Age weapons on the inside and us on the outside. We should be more logical than that, especially not knowing what we're up against *Arachnia remained in the relaxed position she had adopted earlier, a lull of reason in her voice*

She has a point.. Has anyone seen what's lurking in there? We don't really know what we're up against. When you say puppet, Ress, do you mean mental control or a blackmail-style of control? That makes a difference, after all. And.. *Lirimana looked at Arachnia and then back to Ress* if this is a trap, we should have a backup plan. There's no reason for anyone to die unnecessarily

* Ress seemed slightly irritated at their notions of a trap, but listened to them as they spoke... when Lirimana addressed him, he was more than happy to speak up* I know for a fact that this is not a trap, because I could see the fear in its eyes and heard the terror in its voice! And in the off chance that this thing is outsmarting us.... then I will have to cut our losses and destroy the armory and everything within it.... but I don't believe that this is a trap... or that the beast can use any of the artifacts that may have survived within there... it is far too large to manipulate anything made for Exalt use. Are these the only concerns that you all have? Because if so... then there is no reason why we can not march our way down to that Armory and show that "thing" the power of The Unconquered Sun!..... * he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, calming himself before he flew off the handle. it did not take long for him to calm and open his eyes, smirking slightly as he looked out at the group* but at any rate... what else comes to your minds?

Ascending Wood 16 *Towering Oak walked forward from his position of leaning on the wall and walked to where the others were talking and looks down at Ress.* You say someone is trapped? *Towering Oak grins as Ress nods, a terrible thing of bared teeth and the promise of Death. Oak looks at Arachnia.* You say its Full of Weapons? *As Arachnia Nods, Towering Oak's smile grows wider and more feral. He looks at everyone starting with Ress, then to Arachnia and finally to Lirimana.* No time for talk. *He turns his back to all of them and starts to the way out.* Lets Go.

*Arachnia shook her head and sighed* Why is it that men always lust for blood and death? Even the reason of women will fail to sway them *Arachnia addressed Towering Oak as he finished* I understand that gore is your purview, but shouldn't tactics be also? Many Dawns in the First Age were unparalleled tacticians, perhaps you should look into it. I think your backup plan should be more thought out. I understand that you are in the throes of compassionate martyrdom at the moment, but I strongly advise finding a more subtle plan that won't kill us and or result in us losing potentially priceless knowledge and artifice simply because we were ill-prepared...

Ress, maybe it's because we know more about the things that lived in the First Age, but I have to agree with Arachnia *it looked a bit like she didn't want to admit that, but she swallowed and continued* We still, I'd like to point out once more, know next to nothing about what we're up against. Some First Age nasty with a personality problem of unknown origin who once dwelled in service, so I assume, to your last incarnation. We don't know the shape or nature of the being, I recommend that we make a trip down there, yes, but not for war. No, if we can observe the prisoner at least for a short while and discover more of its abilities, then we can make an educated move and avoid jumping in blind *Lirimana gave each of the men a serious look, as though compelling them to listen*
3 successes on roll to convince them to revise their backup plan

* Ress looked about the room... confused at himself for feeling that Towering Oak was correct in wanting to act swiftly.... but also believed that they should know more about what they are up against.... and then, he got an idea* Wait a moment Towering Oak... there is one last thing left undone! * he turned to the control console and smirked his famous all knowing Emperor smile* Sentinel, Check the essence of the area... something that huge must have a massive amount of essence... then cross reference it with any information we might have on ancient helpers. * The screen lept to life and began processing the heavy amounts of data needed to discover this particular bit of info.. then a buzzer let them know that the answer was found. Upon the screen sprang a picture of a tall, man like earth elemental with a barbed iron tail and rows of sharp teeth, and beneath the picture, a single name..."Quar-Zagot". Ress blinked as he looked at this thing... then turned to the group* This is what we are up against... our ancient ally now has a name... "Quar-Zagot"... it seems he has grown quite a bit since then

ascending wood 16 *Towering Oak turned back and locked his eye on Arachnia, staring at her with a gaze that could almost literally melt an army and burn through steel. He then shook his head and looked up at the screen, at this "Quar-Zagot", and sighed. He looked back at Lirimana and Arachnia.* As you say Arachnia, Tactics and Gore is my purview, and now, thanks to Sentinel, we have a rough idea of its capabilities.* Towering Oak sighed again, looking at his hands for a moment then looked back, with pleading in his eye.* Now, look past the information, and Look at the being. This is a Living, Thinking, Feeling being that is being controlled against its will. Lirimana, Arachnia, how would you feel if someone else owned your body and you were trapped inside your mind, screaming and pounding to get out, but being unable to do so? This poor creature has dealt with that for centuries most likely, This shall not be allowed to continue on moment longer than necessary. As I said, Now is not the time for talk. At the very least we must be There. *Towering Oak points up at the screen at Quar-Zagot.*

*Arachnia fixed Towering Oak with her own glare, a piercing icy expression that threatened as the North winds promise. When she spoke, her tone matched her gaze, creating an even colder aura about her* Watch your tongue, whelp, especially about matters and people you know nothing about. You may not like being informed, but I do. And just because of that fact does not mean that I lack the intention to help the beast. So think before you open that mouth of yours, Understand? *as she finished speaking, Arachnia kept her expression and resisted the urge to run her tongue across the Moonsilver fangs in her mouth*

*Lirimana opened her mouth to speak, but Arachnia was already started on her response and so she simply frowned at Towering Oak and waited, a bit more level-headed than Arachnia at the moment. When she was done, the Twilight shook her head and picked up with her opinion on the subject* Towering Oak, it's not that I don't care and you should accept that. I don't know how to explain it to you, especially if you don't want to understand, so I'm just going to give it a shot and pray that it works. Your style of helping is to go out and kill things, mine is to analyze and figure out the best course of action so that I can minimize losses. I'm not as hardy as you are so I need to try harder to stay alive. I'm sure Quar-Zagot has been in torment for a long time, and no offense, but he isn't going to die if we spent twenty minutes trying to get a bit of background on you. Especially since I know what he is, and that helps. The type of Elemental that he is isn't easily controlled, being of Earth, he's exceptionally hardy, so that means that he isn't easy to harm physically. His type of Elemental have a lot of defenses in place just in case something goes wrong, and the carefully planned defenses didn't work either. Since Quar-Zagot's people are happy to receive gifts from worthy masters, it makes me wonder if he was tricked. And, if he was tricked, how did the person manage to capture his mind since Quar's type can simply become mica. There are a lot of possibilities, and I's rather not run into something almost as scary as the Green Sun if I can help it...
9 successes on a Wits+Occult roll to recognize Quar-Zagot from first sight
