Resplendent Wood 3,
I will be sure to clarify with Ress whether or not he was the one to write that letter. Was anyone notified at all about the letter being presented?
*her eyes narrowed at the mention of a Dragon Blooded. This definitely was not something she wanted happening while Ress was indisposed. Sure Arachnia had ruling experience, but she hated doing it on a large scale, and things like these invasions and hidden manses all over the place were growing ridiculous. What sort of security system were they running here? Was it possible for Sentinel and Zeriku to betray them? They were the souls of actual people with a sentience instead of an obedient A.I. What were the walls and powerful weapons for if not to keep people out? At the least they should regulate who comes and goes, but none of their defense systems seemed to be working properly. As soon as this trial was over she would have to run a systems check and see if she could diagnose the problem or problems. When Sentinel pointed above the Imperial Manse she followed his finger and shook her head*
That girl is quite a bit of trouble. Is she on top of the Imperial Manse or on the manse above the Imperial Manse?
*Arachnia took a few steps toward her manse and stopped at the entrance*
Someone should go see what she is doing there and how she got there. Either way she has some explaining to do since it takes more than a day to get from one manse to another. Especially if it's one that requires flight or a transporter to get to

Resplendent Wood 3,
I know that I wasn't told anything about the letter... What? How could somebody do that? I'm an Exalt and I need help getting across the week-long journey in less than a day
*she shot a mock "look" at Dal'Lumen*
That doesn't count you well-muscled men who seem to do it without breaking a sweat
*she looked back to Sentinel and Arachnia, wondering if it would be better to split up. They still had the Marina to deal with, why did this woman decide to start displaying supernatural feats of speed all of a sudden? From what she had heard, anyway, this Tari was a human*

" No, Tari is many miles above the Imperial Manse. I am not sure how, but she is. I have tried to transport myself up there, but it is out of my range.... I would advise against going to see her right now, far more pressing matters are at hand, and though I am not the Emperor, if I were, I would handle the problem before I handle the oddities.... please, you must go fix my ancient mistake"
* Sentinel's simply business attitude quickly softened into something more somber. The regret of making poor decisions as an emperor now weighing heavy upon him, with a sigh, he nodded, looking between the four who stood there*
" I will do what I can... but please make sure that thing cant hurt anymore people."

Having made his way nearly to the back of his warstrider, Dal'Lumen called down from the catwalk to the others.
"I think Sentinel is right, we should stay together and deal with each problem with our combined strength. For all we know, whoever has been orchestrating this could be trying to devide us. Besides, I get the feeling that we will find that missing Warstrider is going the same place we are."
His booming voice rumbled through the Armory like distant thunder. Upon arriving behind his warstrider, Dal'Lumen searched for any sort of entrance, or opening mechanism, but could find none. He felt confident that there must be some trick to it, or if things kept going the way they were going, the answer would simply be presented to him in the near future.
*Clink Clink* He tapped a finger on the back of the Orichalcum machine.
"Mind if I jump in, my large friend? I promise I'll be careful."

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Arachnia wanted to be right, but she knew that she wasn't. Still, this Tari situation made her wonder. Something was going on and it saddened her to find so few people she could trust*
Alright, I suppose you are correct
*turning smoothly, the black widow made her way to a particular Orichalcum Royal Warstrider and caressed its side as a lover might, a fondness in her eyes as she looked at it*
This is Ress's, and this is mine..
*at that, the Lunar walked over to a Moonsilver Royal Warstrider and placed her hand on it, leaning close against the sleeping warmachine before speaking again*
The others are open to your claims, Lirimana and Wise River. Take your pick, just be gentle..

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Sometimes Arachnia could be rather manic and at other times she could be eerily together. Right now she seemed to be fighting between the two states. Looking around, Lirimana tried to feel out the Orichalcum Warstriders, looking for the one that Ress had assigned her. When she found it, the Twilight walked over and patted the leg before going around to the back and climbing up onto the catwalk herself. It took a moment, but soon she was at the back of her own Warstrider, ready to get in. She ran her hand along the grooves and ridges, admiring the architectural design of the warmachine as she began investing essence. She watched as gave mote after mote, looking for the end point and as soon as she found it she made note. The hatch opened to reveal the interior causing Lirimana to smile*
There we are.. I'm coming in now
*she slipped into the control room and looked around, holding her breath for happiness*

* A hum arose from within the blue trimmed, Hakama wearing Orichalcum warstrider which Dal stood behind, before the sound of a pressure lock rang out and the back opened, leading into a spherical room with six rings of burning white Orichalcum inset within the sphere room. At all four sides of the room, there were vents of black jade, perhaps for some unknown mystical reason.
The innards of Lirimana's Warstrider was very much similar to Dal's. The Rings, the platform and the spherical room were all accounted for, though the black jade slits were not. At the far end of the fuselage, there was an opening, apparently for a hearthstone, many times used to power magitech artifacts such as these*

The massive head of Dal's Warstrider turned down to look at the others down below. It crossed it's arms, and tilted it's head to one side.
"Bine and I are ready when you are, keep your wits about you, watch each others backs, I'll be waiting outside when you are ready."
*The gargantuan marvel took a large stride to avoid stepping on any of the others on the ground, grabbed a huge set of hook swords from the wall, and made his way to the entrance of the Armory. He stood just outside the gateway, the arms of his warstrider moving with him as he slowly began to get more comfortable with how it mimicked his own movements. It wasn't long before he was out there testing its capabilities, starting with a few jabs that started slowly and began to grow faster each time his arm retracted.*

Resplendent Wood 3,
When we're ready to go, let's get back into the manse and then go over to the Marina
*Arachnia closed her eyes and began a prayer of her own in Old Realm. Though it had the same feel as the one that Dal'Lumen said the words were different. When she finished the Warstrider she was pressed up against was sporting a pair of glowing eyes. Now that the prayer was complete, Arachnia began attuning herself to it. As soon as Arachnia was finished committing the motes required the hatch of her own Warstrider opened up and she went up the catwalk and into the back of her Moonsilver partner. After a few moments the Warstrider made its way to the weapons and grabbed a pair of Moonsilver Warstrider Sais and made her way out from the Armory and into her manse*

Resplendent Wood 3,
*motioning with the Warstrider's arm, she walked over into the entrance of Arachnia's Manse and a bit down the hall while looking over the inventory of options her Warstrider gave her after grabbing the spear for her Warstrider that was closest to her Third-Arm Glaive from the Armory's selection. Lirimana had to admit to herself that she was a bit jealous that Dal and Arachnia's had an awakened A.I. but she figured that she would have them look at hers after the fight. No sense in wasting more time than necessary when people were in danger. As it stood, she could see that the weapon choices were a bit different than she was used to, but this really only offered more areas where she could improve. It was kind of nice having another project, it could keep her mind off of her dreams and drive her forward, but that was how it had always been with her*

Taking another long silent look in the direction of the Emperial manse before turning away and entering Arachnias manse once again, where he looked the others warstriders over and crossed his arms.
"Guess we wait for Wise River to choose hers. By the way, has anyone heard from Quar?"
*Dal wasn't even sure the others could hear him, but that didn't stop him from trying.*

Resplendent Wood 3,
*she looked to Dal'Lumen, the Warstrider's face turning with hers. Though there was no mouth on her Warstrider, Arachnia could be heard from a hidden speaker or projector on the warmachine*
I haven't heard from him yet. Wise River has choices, ours were already assigned for various reasons. While we wait I will awaken Lirimana's Warstrider. You're welcome to get back inside, there's plenty of room
*Arachnia turned her head to Lirimana now and beckoned with her hand for her to come in*
I'm going to awaken your Warstrider, Lirimana, so stay still
*the prayer could be heard from the speaker and it swelled until the Orichalcum Royal Warstrider that Lirimana was in woke up, eyes glowing as the other two had done. It was at that point that she realized Wise River was engrossed in the various weapons and Warstriders in the Armory. Raising her arm she peered deeper into the building*
Wise River, it's time to go, what are you doing?
*she could see the Lunar wave her off and Arachnia sighed and shook her head*
Let's leave her here for now, it could be dangerous for an untattooed Lunar to fight an unknown menace

Resplendent Wood 3,
*Lirimana stood as still as she could, the excitement emanating from her. She was glad that Arachnia had decided to do this, though for the life of the Sun she couldn't figure out why. Maybe someone had forced her into it.. Either way, she was grateful. This Ratch was a very sexy and fun to be around guy. She could already tell they would get along great*
Yay!

Resplendent Wood 3,
*once they were all boarded, the manse started its transit once more. In a matter of minutes they arrived back in Bezair, stopping at the point nearest the Marina The door opened and Arachnia walked out of the hall and onto the earth once more*
Are we ready?

*as soon as the Manse came to a halt and the doors opened, Lirimana started out the door. She turned her head to face the others and waited, her spear in hand*
I am!
